Love, love ,love this place. My grandchildren can ride horse's, go fishing, feed goat's and bird's, oh I forgot the chicken's. This is a wonderful family time place. The setting is so country and we all enjoy going there at least a couple time's each year.
In the winter they have a great sledding hill that's free. Use the south entrance off 24th. There are also several trails to walk when it's warm or snowshoe in the winter. There is a small playground off the parking lot and a bridge over a small stream that kids love.
We found this place while in Holland for a swim meet. A great chance to snowshoe outdoors in the snowy landscape on well marked groomed trails. Would definitely go again!
This is a wonderful city maintained park (160 acres) on the south side of Holland, MI. With about 5K of groomed trails for hiking, xcountry skiing, and snow shoeing, it's a great place to spend a couple of hours. Parts of the trails are lighted for evening adventures. In the winter there is a lighted sledding hill. Picnic tables are located on the 24th st entrance. It is also a wonderful place to visit year round.
