It's fun to go to Papa's Pumpkin Patch in the fall. During the winter, there's also Papa's Polar Patch. Lots of pumpkins and people of all ages having fun. Be careful if you go into the wooded trails, though--there are usually bees hanging around (not fun). Otherwise, the pumpkin patch is a cool afternoon activity for the whole family during the autumn months.
Papa's Pumpkin Patch is my favorite place to go with my grandchildren in the Fall. They love to see all the pumpkins, play in the mazes and enjoy the great North Dakota weather. It is. Great place for family pictures as everyone is always smiling and laughing. If you have never been to the pumpkin patch you need to plan a day there. You will be amazed at the creativeness and fun things for all ages to participate in!
If you are looking for a great place to take the kids for something different then this is the place!! Lots of things to do for the young and young at heart!!
pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere and the corn bin for the kids is so much fun. The family and staff members are so friendly and helpful. Wish they had more vendors, crafts and seasonal items for sale. Nice selection for snack foods and drinks. Its a great way to spend the day.
This place is just fun, no matter the age or the affair head out in October and have your choice at the thousands of pumpkins and the fun activities!
Our family has always enjoyed Papa's Pumpkin Patch. Before moving to Bismarck two years ago, we'd come from Fargo every year. Papa's Pumpkin Patch was my son's number one choice for his 11th birthday party (this year) with his friends. We invited 13 boys, ages 10 & 11. There were so many different things for them to do. Some were flying down the zip line. Others were playing hide n seek in the maze. They climbed, ran, rode, and sang. They were treated to hot chocolate and a cookie, just to re-energize before heading back out for more fun. One of our guests yelled to me as he ran past, "This is the best birthday party I've ever been to...like EVER."
The Pumpkin Patch does an amazing job. The simple things that the kids can do will keep them entertained for hours, and the zip lines are great. A person can get great pictures and the treats are very inexpensive. We actually enjoyed Papas Patch 3 seperate times this year, including doing our 6 year olds birthday party there. The boys had a blast. We had our own small area with table and baloons along with pumpkin cookies for everyone. We also spent a couple hours there with our sons kindergarten class, they loved the corn pool. Couple things that may be improved..the porta pottys may need to be emptied more often, we were also there a very windy day, and because of the dryness the dust was terrible, spraying some water down on the roads would help. Thanks for all the work everyone does to ...Can't wait for the winter adventure.
Entire family loves this place. It has grown a lot in fun factor. There are things to do everywhere that it can entertain a big crowd and still be fun. No long wait for any of the rides that is a plus for the young ones. Our dog loved the feild and was tired at the end, so was the kids. You need a lot of time to get everything done, so wear comfy shoes and make sure to grab some pumpkin for Halloween or squas for cooking. Enjoy!
Great place to take your kids for fall season photos. As the fall colors sure make for some nice photos. The little kids love visiting the patch and picking out a pumpkin or 2 to take home with them for Halloween.
It was amazing to see all of the changes that have taken place since I was at the patch! It is truly a place of fun and joy! The creators know how to draw out the kid in all of us! They are all kids themselves! What always touches me is the welcome and joy that Dave, Colleen, Tracy, Cory, and all their helpers give to each and every guest who arrives! Thank you for all your hard work!
