Great place, very clean and loads to do. The only negatives are the incessant and extremely loud shouting of the animation team. Its SO annoying. Note to management also, many of your visitors are English speaking, watch the lyrics of the loud piped music! My young children have been singing the 'F' word for the past 20 minutes! Otherwise definitely worth a visit.
We went in August although it was high season there weren't alot of people. We went a day to the water park & another evening we went the theme park it was great fun. At the water park amazing slides and i loved the wave pool .At the theme park there are alot of attractions. The food at both resorts was good with quite a variety to choose from. We didn't rent a locker we find a deck chair near the wave pool and we put everything under a deck chair. The only negative thing is the transport better rent a car or a taxi to go
We went to Etnaland Aquapark on a scorching hot day in August and were impressed at the size and variety of attractions on offer. We are a family of two adults and a, rather nervous, seven year old. Whilst our lad was not interested in most of the slides and rides available there was still plenty to keep us entertained for the day with the three or four pools available. There are loads of staff/life guards on hand who actually appeared to paying attention to what was happening rather than just hanging around so it all felt very safe.It is a little pricey and is in a very ‘out of the way’ location but I still give this 5 stars as a great way to cool down on those hot Sicilian summer days. We didn’t book the sun beds option, and perhaps this would have been better in retrospect as there was not very many other places to sit, but if you are going to be sliding/having fun all day rather than catching some rays its fine.We had lunch there and there was a fairly good selection of ‘reasonably’ priced options (for a theme park!).
We went with small kids of 5 and 7 years old. They had great fun, plenty of rides that suit that age. Prepare to get wet, some rides do splash. Very clean and well supervised.
We can only comment on the waterpark and not the themepark but our day at Etnaland was great fun. The waterpark is fairly large with plenty to do from family raft slides to steep fast slides for more adventurous people. We spent about 6-7 hours here and didn't get bored.
We visited Etnaland on a hot July day with another 4 adults. It was a wonderful experience. There's ample parking space in front of entrance. The entrance fee is reasonable and everything well organised. All facilities were clean at all times. There were queues for each ride but moving. The management make sure that rules are followed for the safety of all. It was an enjoyable day for all of us.
We visited Etnaland at the end of August with 2 children. Not easy to get to it, satnav got us there. Purchased combined ticket for acquapark and themepark, adults cost Eur32 and kids Eur19.50 (low season). Arrived there around noon, no queue at all at entrance. We rented a locker for belongings, left our towels on the pebble beach by wave pool and off we went to enjoy the rides! Some queues were longer than others but moving and didn't have to wait too long. Well organised and clean. The acquapark closed at 7pm and there were long queues for toilets and showers. We ate there just before the themepark opened, food ok not great though. Rides at themepark were good and some very thrilling!! Long queues for the more popular rides but this is to be expected in themeparks. A fantastic day out for all the family! If you're visiting with your own car try and memorise where you parked it :-) We spent more than half an hour looking for our rented car when we left at around 11.30pm - the car park is not very well lit, looks totally different in the dark, we were all very tired (especially the kids) and our car being in the darkest part of the car park made it all the more difficult to find! Thank you to the young attendants for helping us to look for it!
We had a lovely day at the acquapark! The rides were exciting, the attendants were very helpful and the eating areas were fantastic and reasonably priced. It was a wonderful experience, especially for the children. The only negative thing was the long queue to purchase the tickets. Maybe it was a one off thing.
Ok, firstly it is not in Belpasso, do not go to Belpasso, as we did and hunt around desperately for signs. It is way back on the main road from Catania to Paterno, with the turn off just by a fantastic futuristic looking shopping centre called Etnapolis (sadly cannot report on that as we didn't make it there). So when we eventually found Aqua Park and Etna Land (the theme park starts at 7pm, the water park opens at 9.30 and closes at 6pm), we were already a bit frazzled. It cost us €24 each and €3.50 for a sunbed. It was clean, tidy and well laid out, there was lots to do. The only down side was the longish queues - you could get onto the relatively less popular things reasonably quickly but some of the longer queues were prohibitive. A few more rides might have spread the people more evenly. The wave pool also broke into an enthusiastic disco every hour or so, with tidal waves and loud encouragement to shake your stuff. The food was quite good and reasonably priced for these kinds of places - we've been to a lot of them over the years! So all in all, not a bad day out, but the queues took the edge off it.
