  Piney Apple Golf Course is one of the most beautiful courses in Adams County. However, yesterday I think it must have been the most beautiful in all of Pennsylvania. The mountain views with the beautiful foliage is more beautiful than I have seen in many, many years. Last week we were in the PA Grand Canyon and the views we enjoyed during our golf outing yesterday may have been even more breathtakingly gorgeous. If you have not played Piney Apple before, it is worth calling and getting some specifics with the directions. It is in the country and the mapping of it can be a little tricky, but well worth the effort. The golf attire rules are not strict here, allowing us to wear jeans during our spontaneous decision to play a round of golf. Beautiful mountains with autumn foliage, a course design that fits the beginner and more experienced golfer, apple orchards lining the perimeter of many fairways, and an overall welcoming feeling from the staff make Piney Apple a first-rate golf experience in Adams County!
