The beers are all made on location. There are interesting and diverse choices for all palates. The bar staff were very helpful and attentive. Food menu is minimal but good. The outside patio is pretty cool with views of the side street and all the goings on, very festive. Most folks stop for just the one or two and move on, so its not a "hangout". Give it a try....you won't be disappointed.
Great place. On a nice day you can sit outside and enjoy the view with your wine or beer. Love it when they have live music. Service is always stellar!
Took my family here because they are visiting from out of town. The bartender was down right nasty. We walked in and went to the upper outdoor seating area. After about 5-10 minutes she came up to take our order and seemed irritated that we were even there. It was basically like what do you want. When she came back with our drinks she slammed them down on the table and my husband informed her that he ordered a 20oz beer not a 16oz. She then snapped back at him and said "well I will bring you another 4oz". No apology or anything and when she comes back with it she slams that down on the table and doesn't say anything and walks back down to the bar. The beer is good, but will never go back to the brewery itself again. The bartender should probably seek another line of work if the customers bother her so much. .
The beer is wonderful and it is fun to visit this modern brewery in the historic Brewery Gulch. There is very limited food, so don't go hungry. However, overall is a great experience and I'll be back when I'm in the area again.
OK, there are going to be tourists like me in the place but the number of locals coming and going give testimony to service, food and coffee as well as ambiance that keeps people coming back. You're going to like this place....
This is a progressive brewer who even sources their own, wild hops. The beer is well above par and ranks with the great Oregon and Vermont beers. A cute little tap room with friendly local flair. If you are above drinking age, and thirsty, this place is for you. They have a small suite available for rent on a daily basis. Next time I'm going, I'm going to see if I can stay.
Tried the sampler first, 7 beers all good partner liked the stout I loved the salut. We sat on the patio in the sun, with misters to keep cool. The brats were great, esp with the added jalapenos. It's a great stop if you are in Bisbee
We visited this place twice. The brews are great, with seven beers to choose from. If you are more of a wine drinker, I highly recommend the Salut. Wonderful chili and Brats, as well as fresh popcorn. It was quite busy when we were there, but our server Casey kept everyone happy!
I was in Bisbee for almost a full day and found myself at the brewery twice. Loved the story of the holy grail IPA and I thought it was very tasty. The salut was very interesting and delicious as well! Maybe I'm just biased because I love checking out new breweries, but I felt very welcomed. The atmosphere was inviting and I'm a firm believer that good people gather at breweries, which was definitely the case. Also, the pricing was great. I'm even more excited to know now that one can even rent the room on top of the brewery if available. I wish I would have known ahead of time because I would absolutely love to stay there. The staff were friendly and gave us a heads up on different events. I especially loved the sign in the front about the 'sexy' beers. I can't wait to go back!
This place was a good brewery. The friend I was with liked the beer. Note: they have wine, beer, root beer and water. (no other beverages) One of my friends does not drink and does not like root beer. So water was the only option. They have Bratwurst, chili and popcorn. That is the only food options. We were told to go there for dinner, but a local person. We of course had a few beers and good dinner elsewhere. But it was a nice patio and a great drinking location.
