Very hands on activities. I think cost wise it's more then its worth. I wouldn't go again. My husband who is science minded enjoyed it.

I visited this centre after I had already visited the Exploratorium in SFO (which was delightful). And I found this centre a bit old but quite a match to some place like the Exploratorium, because of the vast range of display it has. It is quite expansive and can be quite a delight for a day visit within Boise. We went during february when there was a discount running and we got the tickets at a heavy discount.

I recently went to the Discovery Center to see the travelling Leonardo da Vinci exhibit. I was amazed at the many working models based on da Vinci's notes. I learned a lot about his inventive mind as well as his art. The Discovery Center has hands on exhibits that excite young people about science. It is well worth the time to go with your children and you will learn something as well.

This was alright but mostly for kids. Took a couple of friends and although it is very interesting it is not really for adults. It is much smaller then the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Wish it had IMAX movies and more for adults at the Discovery Center.

Wonderful place to stop in and expend some energy and learn about science. Lots of excellent hands on activities and exhibits. I highly recommend this place.

Only the four of us that went to Discovery Center got this illness, and it came upon us 4 days after visiting, which was the incubation period for what we had. There just isn't a way to keep all that stuff clean from all those children touching and such. Plush, 90% of the exhibit was over the heads for my young children. This would probably be better for tweens / teens, who can grasp the science and can keep using hand sanitizer on their own after each exhibit!

We went here back in June 2013. I can select June in the when did you visit park. Anyway this is a fun place for the kids to discover the wonders of Science. My kids liked the Tornado exhibit the best. They got to throw paper made items in the tornado vortex and watch it move up. There is a lot to mention but that was the most memorable. Most of the exhibits are hands such as the remote control erecter set cars, the bicycle with a skeleton partner, grocery store play area and much much more. If you are in boise give this place try.

It is very cool! But, my child couldn't figure out how to do some of the stuff. It was on a field trip. My child thought that it was fun.

Make sure that you have plenty of time when you go here. We had wandered around checking everything out with my 18 month old son. It wasn't until the very end that we realized they had a little grocery shopping area. We were only able to spend about 10 minutes in this area before we had to leave.

The Discovery Center is a great place to really get involved in learning. I went with a University group, but this would be great for families as well. Kids would get to be completely hands on and see the magic of science and technology!
