Since Turnberry first opened a couple of years ago, I have played this course I would say 30 to 40 times. I always enjoy the challenge, yes challenge as this course has 2 par 4's and 16 par 3's. The course is well manicured , fairways and greens top notch. With a low handicap, I find the course exceptional to work on your iron shots. Having played alot of golf in canada and the usa, I would rate this course exceptional and DONT be fooled by the length. The course can eat you up quick. A must play. Oh yah, you must stop in the restaurant after for their great food and cold beer. An amazing venue.
The room seemed cavernous, the food was mediocre at best, and the waitress was snarky when we moved from the centre of the room to a fireplace table for dessert so we could warm up! We were 4 sisters getting together for a Christmas luncheon, and were terribly disappointed at the very slow, disinterested service, the freezing temperature of the room, and the disappointing food. We would never go back!
I recommend this golf course for all levels of players. Don't let the short holes fool you. This is a challenging course that demands consistency. Two month packages are a great deal.
Turnberry is truly the place to spend time with friends and family to celebrate those special moments. Recently they helped us host 30 people in great style. You must give them a try.
Great executive short course and amenities are fantastic. The pro at the course, Joey is great to deal with as we have done to small events at the course over the past couple of years
We stopped in for a short business meeting last night. We just had a drink and snack but the service was excellent and the view of the frozen course quite beautiful. We have visited this place a number of times and the food and service are always terrific and friendly.
The food is deliciousness and served by very friendly staff. The view no matter what time of year is amazing, big windows offer natural light; a large patio with furniture, heaters and view. Great children menu is reasonable and plentiful.
Excellent service ! The waitress was extremely fun and tentative ! Food was great and would definitely recommend to everyone !
This is a very unique course with few trees to get in your way but lots of sand traps and water to keep you focused on where your ball should land. It has a lot of ups and downs and the course is well maintained. The pro shop staff were pleasant and helpful. However, there was no coffee or muffins ready at 9:00 am in the morning nor were there any restaurant staff around to explain why they didn't open until 11:00 am. I suspect the restaurant thinks it is just a restaurant and the golfers that pass in and out are just an annoyance. We did eat there after our round and the service was very good although the prices were high for golfers. They should seriously consider having an outside barbeque with hot dogs and burgers at a discount for golfers as well as the aforementioned coffee and muffins early in the morning.
Love the clean, airy dining room. Nice views in summer but terrace patrons can be loud. I don't agree with their "best burger in town claim" but Caesar salad is always decent. Very good crime brûlée.
