Attended The Haygoods/Clay Cooper New Year's Show. Great show, lots of energy, made to feel like family. Already making plans to attend 2015 show.
Clay, his wife Tina, their family and long time collegues gave a great performance. The interaction with the attendees was just funnier than all get out. Well worth the seeing - you won't be disappointed.
This show was recommended by the hotel staff where we stayed. We are not huge country music fans but we really enjoyed Clay's show. He is a true entertainer and had a good variety of acts. The Haygoods were excellent. They are talented musicians and we enjoyed their show. During the buffet which was served between shows, Clay and the Haygoods came out to sing while people waited for their turn to go through the buffet. That made the wait seem shorter. However, we were towards the back and did not get through the buffet before Clay's show started. We wish they would have had more buffet lines set up or had a longer intermission. The food was appetizers but tasty.
Both of these folks on the same night....just incredible. From the opening to the welcoming of 2015, just fantastic!
It was our first visit to Branson. I read reviews and highlights of shows and this seemed like something we would like. It was entertaining and offered very good music, laughs, audience involvement. I think everyone would enjoy this show.
Our group is composed of a 76 yo grandma, my husband, my 12 yo son and 6 yo daughter. I asked Branson travel and tours what they could suggest for a new year celebration show with these different age groups. The lady I had talke to said to try the " the Haygoods" show, and boy she is right! I think it was one of the most expensive show compared to the others but it was worth it. My kids enjoyed it so much. All smiles even after we went home. I would highly recommend this show. We are a family that loves going to shows be it a musical concert, broadway shows, opera or even band concerts. My kids are already exposed to these kind of shows that a few times we have to go home before the second part of the show starts that I am scared they won't enjoy it. But my oh my, it was awesome. I would say they have 100% audience participation. And one thing for sure, they are not stingy with their props. Thumbs up for the "Haygoods" !
We went to see Clay Cooper's show about 2 months ago (Christmas season 2014) and it was FANTASTIC. It was a great mix of comedy and musical talent from everyone in the show. I loved the part where Clay let the audience yell out requests and he and the band was only stumped once....ONLY ONCE...out of like 20 songs. They are really amazing. Plus, we loved Matt Gumm and all of his comedy antics, especially the bit where they did a medley of musical tributes from Micheal Jackson to WIllie Nelson and everything in between. It was hilarious. Will definitely go back in 2015.
It really is a good show and I am not really even into country music. They did a throwback to music from the past and that was awesome. Overall a 5 star experience!
Everything from his entrance to his exit kept me surprised and smiling. Such a fantastic show. He is so interactive with the audience. I would love to see this one again.
everything about the show was on-going from start to finish no down time even at intermission they were singing and dancing. they even served the whole place a buffet, and right before new years they served everyone apple cider and at midnight over 500 balloons fell from the ceiling, And after the show clay cooper and the haygoods stayed until everyone had a chance to get a autograph and photo with them.
