good place to start skiing in the morning and move over to 10 for more challenge and then over to 7 and 6 for a different variety. Area 8 was not as much fun for our group and we just skied it for transition back and forth.
We took a friend's jeep up to peak 10 on Sunday and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and incredible views I have ever seen. We actually made it all the way up to the weather station that is at the summit. The incredible thing, there was still enough snow we could have snowboarded the bowl. In fact we saw some skiers hike to the summit and ski down. Will never forget the adventure. Please be warned, you MUST have a 4x4 jeep or truck that has a high clearance to make it to the top.
We were blessed with a nice dump on 3rd night in Breck. Wish we made it over to Peak 10 earlier in the morning. No beginners, short lifts, great powder.Cons: gets pretty choppy afternoon
I am NOT an expert but I can handle several runs on Peak 10. Stay close to the lift and you can do them! Centennial and Crystal are great runs. The lift is often windy but the Falcon Chair lines usually move pretty fast.
The groomed blacks on this slope are wide and easy to maneuver if you are an advanced skier. They are wide and beautifully groomed and not really too hard for black runs.
Would imagine this to be the peak for advanced mogul skiing. We skied a few of the black groomed runs which were fine but not all that interesting. With all of the variety for advanced intermediate skiing, this peak is not the best of peaks to spend time on.
Great slopes, no lift lines. Lots of trails. Single black should be double blue. The staff is really great. There are other peaks as well all have easy access.. Plan on a day of fun.
A very quiet peak with decent trails, lifts are not that busy. Take the Quicksilver Super Chair from the village and onto the Falcon Super Chair.
Harder slopes than peak 9 or 8, but great views. This area has mostly black diamonds or double black diamond slopes
Awesome, peak 10 is where it's at for tree skiing. So nice steep sections out skiers right (Mustang I think). Good times
