Great view. 3 museums around. It's great place for pics, picnics, jogging, to think and if it's a day with good weather you can go to the roof and take a lretty awesome view of Brussels. :)
Nice park to walk around, the Cinquantenaire moument is impressive, however the buses and cars parked right in front of it did ruin it.
I'm not sure of the significance of Cinquantenaire Park as it relates to Belgium's history but I thought it was a very nice looking park. The area is very peaceful and the Autoworld is right next next door for the car enthusiasts. If you're in Belgium, it's worth a stop for at least 30 minutes.
We came across this park on our way to the Military Museum. It's a park one would expect from an "Imperial" capital - grandeous buildings - pathways in straight formations - big statue etc etc. Although it is pleasant enough I suspect much of it's charm radiates from the fact that it sits amid some of the blandest cityscapes in Europe ! Nice to escape from the faceless Eurocratic Dullswater which borders it i would expect - and compared with the blandness creeping up to the park it is a breath of fresh air.
Right amidst the hubbub of European Government and other offices, there is a this gorgeous park, where one can sit and relax or go for a walk or a run.Highly recommended
During a sunny day this parc is amazing to have lunch in. Lots of families stroll arounf here with their kids. There are friends playing football and having lunch together. The atmosphere is relaxing and a great place to have a coffee and a sandwich in.
AutoWorld Museum、Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History (Army Museum)、Temple of Human Passions 同 Arts and History Museum。
Fantastic place to visit for a stroll on a sunny day. The park was very clean and the archway is an impressive bit of architecture.
Good place to watch the world go by on a sunny day. The Cinquantenaire monument is impressive, there are museums, restaurants and bars nearby but probably best to let the kids have a run around and to have a picnic when the weather is right.
