Kids had a great time!!! Parents enjoyed the slides too:) Staff was friendly. Indoor arcade and playground was entertaining. Games are current and offer a variety.
Drove approximately an hour and half for the kids to enjoy a quick retreat before school started. Stayed in the premium cottage for total of $340.26 for 2 nights. The room included a king bed and a set of bunk beds. We had a small kitchenette, which included a mini fridge/freezer combo and a microwave, but no sink. The bathroom had both a shower and jacuzzi tub. We upgraded to the stay and play package for additional activities like laser tag and discounted paint ball (games are only offered for both of these activities if other children have pre-registered) The pirates cove water park included approximately 7 slides for children ages 5-12 and a small pirate ship for toddler ages. They also had a small toddler water play area and a medium size pool with basketball and a rope plank activity. Some of the parks water features were not operable like the giant pirate head water bucket, but there were enough water spraying animations that it was not an issue. The facility was crowded even on a Wednesday-Thursday with day care children and church groups so some wait time was require. The arcade that was attached had maybe 25 arcade games ranging in price from .50 to $2.00. It also had a free jungle gym area. The food in the arcade was basic pizza, burger, nachos and chicken strips and priced $2.99 for kids 12 and under or a meal package at $4.49-6.29. The overall park/cabins were enjoyed by my kids (2 & 5) but lots of walking is required so I highly suggest a stroller for lil ones! The laser tag and paint ball facility are on opposite side of water park and outdoors in fields so big spray is a necessity! On this same side of the resort is a catch and release fishing area, as well as, the bike rentals, maze and bounce houses (these too can become very hot during the day for little ones to touch/jump). There are also two other "family" pools that stay open later than six after pirates cove closes that can be a distant walk from the premium cabins. Overall the park has daily activities hourly to occupy children of all ages and they emailed the information of these activities prior to our arrival which helped plan our itinerary!
Had sons party there and nothing was how it was explained to us upon reserving tables. Had to be moved inside just so grandparents and elderly relatives could be apart of the party without paying. We were told as long as they were not swimming they would not have to pay. Ehhhhh!!! Wrong. Anyone going outside has to pay even if they are watching kids play. Will never go back again and would like to talk to owner.
I took my three year old and he was allowed to ride all the slides with me. He had such a great time. We will be going back again!
If you want a large water park with long lines, lots of people, and huge tall rides this is not the place for you. This is a small water park inside of RV Ranch aka Jellystone Park. Perfect for small children and pre teens. Lots of shaded areas for relaxing. Small pools for the little guys. Price is a tad high in my opinion but overall the kids enjoyed. Game room has a lot to do. Concessions are average and a little expensive like most parks.
We went there for a birthday party. Nice people, children enjoyed.I think they need to have at least a couple of more option regarding food.
We visited PC with my two young nieces (7&8) and our infant son (1). I was very worried about all of the restrictions on the website regarding coolers and outside drinks, and the negative reviews about how expensive the concessions were, but we decided to go despite the fact. We had lunch before we arrived at noon to save money and I brought a small lunchbox, hidden in the diaper bag, for snacks and milk. After we bought tickets, we walked right in, no bag checks or shake downs at all! I saw multiple families with outside water bottles and snacks for little ones, so don't let that discourage you. The park was very fun for young kids. I can see older kids growing tired of the slides after an hour, but the girls had a great time. We stayed for 3 hours alternating between the pool and slide area. This is a great alternative to larger water parks if you have small kids and don't want to spend tons of money. Very family friendly.
Overgrown kiddie pool. 5 or 6 slides only 2 or 3 of them are big enough to satisfy a 5 year old. Cannot bring in you're own ice chest- Get ready to pay for $3 water and $5 slice of pizza. Way to expensive!!!!! People are friendly, if you can find staff that know anything at all! I can go to Schlitterbahn, bring in my own ice chest with my lunch and water for the day and beer. They have 100+ rides for maybe $10 more! You people are crazy with you're overpriced kiddie pool!
This is a great water park for young children (I would say 8 and under), or kids who have not been to many waterparks in the past. Older kids and adults will very quickly get bored. The biggest slide is fine for a 3 or 4 year olds to do by themselves. There are a couple of novel activities, and it's very clean. The indoor arcade is nice, but also geared toward younger children.
We met our daughter and grandson there for a week during the past summer. He had a blast. We rented a cabin and it was really nice, lots to do looking forward to this next summer. Hoping the new construction for the bigger kids is finished by then. Loved it......
