A great place for a walk around the harbor and all the views it has to offer. Found a quite bench to do a 20 Min meditation along with inspiring walk
This lovely, secluded, and peaceful nook has been used for concerts, weddings, and passersby... It's allure is that it is a place of solitude, a One-size -fits -all. Whatever the celebration and whomever visits, for whatever purpose, you leave with a sense of being part of something bigger, in awe of nature's design, and a feeling of blessedness. The only drawback, if you choose to view it as such, is that the only canapé it offers for shelter is sweeping branches of its larger trees.
Lovely place to view the harbor and all the boats going in and out. They have benches to sit on. While we were there they were having a Civil War encampment.
A really pretty little harbor and park area. Lots of people watching. Shops and restaurants aplenty in the area. Parking can be a challenge on a busy day but worth the effort. Check out the side streets.
well maintained park with views of the harbor, benches to sit on, and enjoy the view; grab a tea or coffee from nearby Main Street and enjoy it in the park.
Wonderful place to view Camden Harbor and schooners. In summer free tours of Camden downtown from Camden Public library which is right next to Amphitheatre. The library itself is a great place to visit. A National Historic landmark.
Whether it is just sitting on the benches overlooking the water watching the ducks, and swans and seagulls while enjoying a sandwich lunch and reading a book or wandering over the wooden "duck walks" that connect a large part of the marina or sitting having a drink at one of the restaurants watching the boats come in, it is the way I like to relax on a beautiful sunny day.Nice grassy area to walk for the wife to walk the dog while you are indulging in a brew at one of the harbor inns !!
We go to Maine every fall. We love the coast of Maine for its picturesque fishing villages. We think Camden is the most beautiful Every fall I go to the top of the hill in this small park (designed by Frederick Law Olmstead), sit on a bench and just enjoy the view. On a sunny afternoon, I feel like I am looking at an oil painting. I take pictures of this scene every year. It is a picture that cannot be taken too many times. It should not be missed.
Gorgeous spot to sit and relax and let any worries float away into the harbor. A unique place like no other I've been to because of the views and location.
This is one of our favorite spots to watch the boats in the harbor ane enjoy the view. Such a pretty harbor.
