Liked the serenity of this beach, but the waves and undertow were a bit more than other beaches on the property.
Incredibly private. We spent an entire day here and only saw one other couple the whole day. View was amazing. Same velvety sand and perfectly shady beach trees. Nice snorkeling.
Perfect Beach. Great views of boats all day long. Great Snorkeling and never crowded. We loved this beach.
Fifteen minute drive from the ferry, superb sand, fantastic snorkeling, clean showers, what else do you need. The only caveat is to try to get there early before the cruise ships bring a 100 or so people. Even if they do if you swim 30 feet out you are still in an uncrowded area and there are plenty of fish and other sea life to see. It is a national park so there is a small fee per person. There is free parking by the beach entrance
Sandy in the center with good snorkeling on both sides. Perhaps because it is at the tip of the resort, it was never crowded. From the beach you can watch boat traffic to the BVI.
Turtle Bay has been a famous underwater guided snorkel for many years. My husband and I were dismayed to see the change here since our last visit 11 years ago. The coral here is so badly damaged, and the fish are not nearly as numerous as before. If you want to see beautiful coral, and are a fair swimmer, hike the Leinster Bay trail and snorkel around WaterLemon Cay...amazing coral and life there.
This perfect slice of sand is the best at Caneel. The water is unbelievably clear due to the constant tide. The inter-island ferry's pass by and create good waves throughout the day. Never crowded or loud.....perfect relaxation. Need to stay at Caneel to access.
Nice little beach, but gets exposed more than some of the others on this part of the island. Beautiful, as expected and hardly ever crowded. Better snorkeling at Scott Beach or Hawksnest Beach, but can you really go wrong?!
This beach is SO beautiful. The sand is gorgeous and the waves are the highest on it's shore, which affords the only body surfing available at the Caneeel resort.
If the water isn't enough for youIf the wonderful snorkeling and fish isn't enough for youLet's throw in some sea turtles and see if it doesn't define paradise. It truly it!
