You can't win if you don't play.. than there are those of us who keep those people in check so they can still afford to go home. Good food and clean establishment. Plenty of security..
A typical casino. Now part of Aztar and Isle of Capri. When we were there the computers were not working properly and couldn't figure your points properly. Hope this is fixed by now. Not easy to win at slots. Nice view along the river, tho.
Attended a business social function on the top floor of the property and found this place to be a delightful surprise in this quaint and charming Mississippi River town. Banquet and beverage service was plentiful and unique - unique menu items created especially for the event. Kudos to the food and beverage team. TVs were abundant as I was also interested in baseball playoff games. Not a gambler, so did not partake. Ample and free surface parking. Only downfall - SMOKE and smokers. To be expected I guess.

The casino sets on the north end of Cape Girardeau's downtown area. As you approach the street improvements are great and the artist details are evident, from the light poles to the front entrance, which mimics the Emerson Bridge. Valet parking and the huge lobby is wonderful, with art installations everywhere including the ceiling, which reminds one of the Mississippi river which is only a few feet away! The signage is clear marking the conference center, restaurants, restrooms & casino. Upon entering the casino you can clearly see the signs for the different games, bars, restrooms etc. & lovely art hanging from the ceiling. The different gaming areas are well laid out with plenty of breathing room, with the area to the right open to the bar with a dance floor & stage for live bands (all the bands I have seen have been great!). Upstairs from that is another bar (with food) and an outdoor patio overlooking the Mississippi river & a fabulous view of the bridge. Back to the casino...the staff is friendly and frequently asks if you need anything. The bathrooms are clean with alot of stalls and several sinks. The individual games I've played I enjoyed & seemed to be cleaned regularly. They do allow smoking with a non-smoking section. Overall I have really enjoyed going to the casino on occasion & love the location & the choice of three restaurants on site.

Pluses: Ample parking, very nice bar with good views of the river and bridge. Three restaurants to eat in. Overall nice appearance, well maintained. Close to downtown Cape Girardeau and some other restaurant choices. On occasion, brings in some decent shows. Minuses: Keller's Bar is not open every night. The buffet tries to be ambitious, but ends up with some lots of overheated, overly dry trays of food. For the price, it is not all that great. SMOKING is allowed on the casino floor. Compares favorably to other Missouri/Illinois casinos...but it's not Vegas!
the isle is very clean staff great but slots are very tight. Food at Faraday's is great but I personal love the potato soup and fresh bread MMMM good stuff!
