One of the nicer all-around family parks in the area! Great lake for paddleboating or canoeing; or take a hike around the lake which is a 2-mile hike - half on paved or dirt trails and half through the woods along a scenic path. Large open areas for activities and sheltered areas for picnics. Just simply a great park.
What fun! While the majority of my walking through the park has been during festivals held there, the ability to paddle around in a canoe on a moment's notice is one of the wonderful things about this place. A great place to spend a day in nature.
Without a doubt it is best park for the whole family to spend a day. Apart from the baseball fields, lot of things where your family can spent..-- Kids play park-- Nice size lake, you can rent paddle boats,kayaks.-- Picnic shelters-- walking trails-- Amphitheater.Events like Easter egg hunt, crafts fair will be additional fun to attend during those days. The most fun thing we did did is flying kites. There is a nice open place close to the lake where you can do this type of activities.. I recommend this park for families..
I like the trails at Bond park, they all connect so that you can bike or run a loop around the park. Also, they are a nice mix of elevation changes to make for a challenging ride and a good workout. Another plus is the greenway trail that connects to the park, providing another mile of riding or jogging out to near the YMCA.
I use bond park for track-out camps. A little pricey for a single mom, but, I have to woirk!!!they have lots of activities for the children and is a family-friendly park.
I liked everything about this park. has great clubhouse and senior center and wonderful walking trails. Lots of ball parks and rec legues
Bond Park is a great place for sports, exercise, playground, boat rentals, etc. However, the photo posted is from Koka Booth Amphitheater - another beautiful park with a lake; but also hosts the symphony and performing arts in a beautiful natural venue. We're very lucky to have both parks, and others, in Cary. But, they're quite different from one another.
This park is ideal for families. It has boating, hiking and play equipment for kids. The longest hike is 1.5 hours. The park is very scenic. Has covered shelters for picnic etc.
the lake is about 5 miles around and nice to trail bike, during the summer provided for the community are the canoes, kayak, paddle boat for a fee, a nice walking trail, there are picnic areas that you can grill and enjoy a meal. overall its a good place to unwind and relax for the kids they will enjoy the kids park and lots of things to do, from sports to seniors bingo social.
very community oriented. I love when they have annual spring daze and a ton of booths from a ton of local companies and vendors come out. I also love going on runs and taking an Eno out to read
