Maybe we hit the correct day but we found many bargains and was a good selection of stores for us. One of the better Outlet malls we have been to throughout the U.S. as related to the brands and prices we shop for.Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept for a mall.
The outlet concept ran itself ragged long ago. Most people who go to these places anymore realize that most of the prices are the same as or very similar to what they can find in malls, and generally higher than what they can find online or even (with luck) at discount stores like Target or warehouse stores like Costco. Having said that, I did find a few deals at Castle Rock, but only on stuff that was touted as being on sale - the minority of products in any given store. If you're going here to find "outlet prices" of the 1980s, you'll be mostly disappointed.
Over the past few years the economy is getting much better which is allowing more and more new shops to open in the OutletsThere are so many new stores with great sales and deals going on every weekendI highly recommend the Outlets just because you can always find great deals.Just warning on major holiday weekends the parking lot is crazy and stores are always crazy crowded
Visiting outlets are my favorite hobby, so I have been to many of them from coast to coast. We visited on Friday, August 8th and we couldn't believe the deals that we were able to find in the Columbia Outlet for my son, the quick-dry, long sleeves were a great price and my husband had a fun time finding new finds in the Coleman store. The gentlemen in the Coleman store were very knowledgeable and my husband came away with some new toys. I, on the other hand, did not find anything, but I have not found anything at the other outlets either. Some times you come home with deals, sometimes you don't. But I must say that the Outlet at Castle Rock is one of my favorite outlet.
Extensive range of shops, nearly nothing they don't have. You can spend a full day here and quite possibly not hit every store unless you're in a hurry. Was glad to see a Harry & David's out here... not many left by us in Southern California. If you're staying in Denver it's a bit of a drive South on I-25 but worth it.
My wife is an Outlet Shopping machine. She has shopped at outlets in about seven states and rates this one among the best. They have everything you could want from tennis shoes to Brooks Brothers. You could spend a couple of days here. My only complaint is they don't have bookstore.
I have been here several times, and usually find what I am looking for and then some! There are great shopping opportunities for many items, clothing, shoes, kitchen wares & candy. The Food Court does lack food choices. We usually go eat somewhere else.
The outlet mainstays are still here....Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas, Puma, perfume stores, etc....but the concept appears to be running out of steam. At least 30% of the storefronts were empty. Crowd was small for a Saturday in the middle of the summer. Outlet bargains were few and far between. Save time and money and shop closer to home.
We enjoy shopping here because the area is so nice and the shops are all very nice, clean and well maintained. We love going here at Christmas time because Santa has his own little cabin where the kids can visit and take pictures. We also love the Stride Rite for shoes for all of the kids!!
Well at least its outside and you can walk around with great views. Make sure you get a VIP card for discounts. However the salespeople are very friendly and nice for the most part and there's a lot of walking around. Great sales in January and February. Recommend CABI for women's clothes. Try eating in downtown Castle Rock-much better selections.
