This museum is spectacular! Extremely well done.. And I'm a Duke fan. The docent was super friendly and helpful. The movie with surround sound at the entrance gave me chills. UNC basketball history is incredible and very well displayed. More impressive than the basketball hall of fame, in my opinion. If you are a fan of NCAA basketball, this museum is a must visit.
I have been three times and every time I love going to the UNC basketball museum. If you are a UNC fan you have to go. It's free and the memorabilia in there is amazing. The video at the beginning gets you excited to enter and see various video stands on players , coaches or important events. They show all the players drafted to the NBA, the ACC championship trophies, the NCAA trophies, and so many other awards. It's incredible. Just go! You will love it.
This is a history lesson in North Carolina basketball...very well done...worth a visit...check hours the museum is open

This museum has the perfect blend of displays, word, and video. Even if you're not a Carolina Basketball fan, you'll find it really interesting and just a great tribute to so many quality people that are Carolina Basketball. Make sure you make time for this stop!
This place is amazing! It's a little difficult to find but once we were inside we were amazed at all the years it covered. We were there at least 2.5 hours and loved every minute of it.
A tremendous tribute to a sport so near and dear to basketball fans, not just in North Carolina but throughout the nation. If you love college basketball you'll love this place! Make sure to put enough time aside to enjoy it all. Even though it doesn't look large the collection is extensive so be prepared. The movie to start the tour is fantastic and sets the stage for the rest of the exhibit. No matter who your allegiances are to you'll really be glad you stopped here.
What a cool Museum. It's not very large but it's got some great stuff inside. I really loved seeing the Roy Williams practice notes, the National Titles and the interactive video displays. It's free so there really no reason not to stop if you are in the area.
Wouldn't have miss this. Any caliber of basketball fan will appreciate this museum. It is free of charge. The hostess will be very informed. The exhibits are so entertaining and enthralling. One can place himself right in the moment.
