Haven't been to the park this year but we enjoyed it very much last summer. My then 2 year old nephew loved the little kiddy pool and the water slides in the regular pool. It was lots of fun for all of us ranging in age from 21 to 60 not counting the 2 year old. I used a Group On and was able to save money on the tickets. A good time was had by all!!!It shows that we visited in September 2013 but it was actually August 2013 but you couldn't go back that far on the review.
It is a great place for the littles who are small enough to enjoy the mini slides and for the kids tall enough to hop on the larger slides, but the in betweens could feel a little slighted only having one or two slides that actually grab their attention. Although our kid had a nice time sliding that one slide about 100 times, I think one more slide for the kids not tall enough for the BIG slide would have been nice. It is a nice local attraction. We felt safe in the presence of so many lifeguards. The snack area was tasty. Best advice - get there early to grab seats.
We had a living social deal to visit this place. Worth the visit with the discounted price. Was glad we got there right before it opened up, the chairs go fast! If is a hot day, and you are in the area a good option to cool the kids off.
This is a great water park. Very clean with lots of guards. Kids place, Lazy River Float, 2 slides, lockers, shower, lots of parking and on premises food. Reasonable priced. Beach chairs and lounges. A family atmosphere with fun for all.
We just moved to Chesapeake Beach and were surprised when we found out that the water park was free to city residence Tuesdays 4-7pm. We checked it out and had a blast. With three young kids, (7, 5, & 2), this park was the perfect size for them to have fun and for us to keep an eye on them. The river moves fast and is very fun. We plan to make this a weekly thing. Can't wait I go back.
for the 21 dollars a person to get in, this place is well worth it. The kids had a great time, lots to do for every age. has food on premises. We rented a cabana with i recommend, because it gets crowed and you at least have a seat with shade.
We went on Memorial Day, and my 7 years old son had blast. He said: "this is the best day ever". You have to get there as soon as they open the doors, because it gets crowded.Don't forget the water proof sunscreen, and the rash-guard shirt. There is not much shadow in the park.
It was small with only a few slides but it was enjoyable on a hot day! It feels like a little vacation town. After we rode the slides we walked the boardwalk, had lunch and came back to slide some more! The price is great and we were allowed to go in and out of the park as much as we wanted.
After reading some reviews I was a bit skeptical. Actually, it was quite enjoyable. Four tween girls who I thought would be bored within 2 hours stayed the entire day! Yes, the bathrooms were the worst, but then all pool bathrooms are gross. Just be sure and wear shoes! Snack bar pricey and you can't bring in outside food. You can bring a water bottle and continue to refill. If you keep a cooler in car with food, it's an easy walk to parking lot and actually a nice park/playgrd. next door to chow, unless you want to tailgate it! BEWARE...Wed. and Thurs. are camp days! Buses of campers come between opening and 2pm. gets a bit crowded! Seating limited so throw a chair in your trunk in case you need to bring it. Unfortunately, most of the chairs just have towels sitting on them all day and no one sits in them. Patrol staff kept up with emptying trash and cleaning up. Lifeguards were attentive. Staff friendly. It would help to wash down pavement in eating areas to cut back on bees...lots of them! We will definitely go back!
This is a nice little water park. The water park itself is fine. The lazy river is nice. The shallow water pool for younger kids is large enough for a few dozen kids and parents. The drawbacks include - it's way too crowded. If you don't get there shortly after opening, you may not find a chair. Also, the bathrooms are not very nice. Naturally the floors are wet in there but there never seems to be anyone around attempting to keep the bathrooms clean. Also, you can not bring in food or drink, you have to buy it there. However, I believe you can leave and come back in if you want to bring a picnic. There is a small play park across the parking lot that you can picnic in if you want. It's certainly not a replacement for a bigger water park but if in the area and you have kids, they will enjoy it.
