Nicely restored, beautiful flowers in the summer, handy clean public washrooms. The Old Bailey Courtroom is an interesting stop and the large foyer is a good place to cool off in the summer and warm up in the winter when visiting downtown Cobourg. There is an art gallery upstairs. Small theatre and music productions throughout the year.
The Victorian Operatic Society never disappoints. The music and dancing were awesome! Who needs to go to Toronto when we've got such great theatre in our own back yard?
The Victoria Hall is classic, elegant, and acoustically pleasing. I have attended several concerts, dinners, and events there and it is a most pleasant experience. After you get settled in you feel like you are taking your place and sharing a privileged experience with people in previous generations who enjoyed a similar moment in time. Well worth the experience.
The Concert Hall at Victoria Hall is a very interesting place, full of history, we watched A Christmas Carol which was an excellent production from the local Amateur Company, there is also the old court room there.
Set amidst the wonderful Victoria Hall full of exciting architecture and local history. Great to watch live plays with fabulous local talent.
Excellent show with lots of excellent local talent. It was cabaret style and we coul;d hjave a drink and enjoy the show and it was perfect for a Christmas Show
the Concert Hall is really old but has been restored, the paintings on the ceiling and the wood detail on the walls is really worth the visit even if you can not see a production you should stop by to check out this room and the courtroom downstairs, it was used in the movie butter box babies. It is an exact replica of the old baily courthouse in England.
Только ради этого красивого здания стоит посетить город. Удивительная величественная архитектура для этих мест.
This is a fantastic venue for a wedding. We all had an absolute blast and I really enjoyed the historic old buildings architecture
It is rare that you will travel in Ontario and find such a stunning building in a smaller town. Victoria Hall is a beautiful architectural gem that is worth an extended gaze. The facade is beautiful and the concert hall on the second floor is really impressive. I didn't have a chance to attend a performance but could just imagine myself. The painted walls and ceiling give you the impression of being in a grander hall that this majestic hall already is. If you have an extra five minutes while you are at Victoria Hall, sneak a peek at the art gallery on the third floor. There is a very small collection and I think it varies a bit. There isn't any classical paintings but worth a quick look.
