Getting here is half the fun. Several rustic roads wind the hilly landscape arriving at the nursery and gift shop. We often see turkey deer and Sandhill cranes on the road coming here.The grounds display many outdoor sculptures. Perennials are their specialty. The gift shop features vases, potpourri, holiday items etc. Peacock and chicken will keep kids occupied

This is a nursery, but I can see why it would be marked as an attraction. They tend to carry more than the average seller, there are chickens on hand to entertain, and it's just a beautiful location near the Kettle Moraine Forest. Anything you want in season, they seemed to have. We enjoyed browsing and ended up loading up our car before we left. The gift shop has LOTS of great ideas. Be sure to allow enough time so you can browse.

Huge selection of hostas. Beautiful place to wander through the plants and gardens even if you aren't purchasing plants. Quaint gift shop with lots of things to see. A peacock, chickens, and cats on the property add to the charm.

Monches is a fantastically creative and unique shopping experience but terribly overpriced. I have seen many of their items for much less at other shops. Perhaps it is the wealthy community that they are in that tolerates this? The other drawback is the lack of restrooms. I still rate them excellent for the overall experience however. It is always a delight to browse their seasonal displays.

A location for some interesting craft type gifts, dried plants, garden stuff and decorations along with some different plants. My wife loves it.

I visited in winter during their holiday open house.i was greeted by the sweet smell of burning wood and beautiful chickens. They have the most interesting array of live chickens roaming around. Inside you need to look in every nook to see the variety of ornaments and unique holiday decor. It is a nice drive and worth the trip to check out something different.
