I grew up near this area so it was not very exciting. After moving away, 20 years later I now appreciate the unique quality of this structure. Worth going a bit out of your way to see this water tower.
Only about 5 miles off the highway so worth the trip to see it before it's sold (it's currently up for sale). Neat to be able to say I saw the World's Largest "Catsup" Bottle. Other than that it's just an old water tower in the shape of a ketchup bottle.
Everybody needs to be able to say they've seen the world's largest catsup bottle. It is well maintained and the pride of the community
Interesting to see if your in the area. Unique piece of history. Not real good as far as being able to take photos in front of. Sets in an area surrounded by houses. All in all interesting.
This is a water tower made to look like a Brooks Catsup bottle. It is on Illinois 159. That is all there is to it. George Bush drove past it when he was in the area a number of years ago.
There isn't much around the area to see besides this. Hard to get a clear photo due to arial wires. It is one of those thing you can say you have seen it!
as a kid i was always told it was full of real Catsup and i always thought that was the coolest thing. pretty cool to see
Unusual to see such a huge catsup bottle. Grew up eating it and this site is a memorable landmark in this area.
In Christmas time, Santa can be seen climbing the side of the bottle with a big sack of toys for all the good girls and boys.Hard not to drive through Collinsville and not see it. A local icon that needs to be preserved as is.
We went on a October morning to see this exhibit. Not much too it. Good for a few quick photos and once in a lifetime visit is about it.
