My wife and I went to this dinner and show. We were lucky and went there when they were hosting special guests from Colorado. The guitar player and fiddle player were award winners and played great. Food was cafeteria style and was good but not great.
Fun place to visit, food was good and there was plenty of it the buckboard ride was fun and the various events were great.
This is a small place with some shops, good books and local crafts, the dinner is good. We saw the christmas Show and it was fun and laughter filled. Not to biog to be a lot of walking not to small to be crowded. Every one working there seems to like their job and you may see the bisquet wrangler on stage. comfortable and a good way to spend an evening in central AZ. Vwet very clean as wekk and I felt the price was right for the show and dinner, I think 34.95 for adults.
The entire grounds is set up like an old western town, which was nice. I called ahead for reservations and let them know that we needed two vegetarian dinners and one regular. The woman taking the reservations was very helpful and explained what our meals would be. They offer a quick tour of the grounds, talking about the history, etc. We sat in one of two "cars" that were pulled by a tractor. Channeling the various tables through the dinner line was very orderly. One heartache I had was seconds. They offered seconds to the carnivores, bringing out more chicken and ribs. I inquired about a second stuffed Portobello (vegetarian menu), and was told there weren't seconds. Ok, got it. This was prepared especially for us, but c'mon, an additional two Portobello's wouldn't have broken the bank! The three, sometimes four, person show was very good.
Thank you Blazing M for a great evening. The experience is fantastic. Food is great! Entertainment is quite good as well. Really recommend this venue for families with younger children. There is lots to do. Make sure you show up shortly after gate opening to ensure you have ample time to see and do everything. You are best to reserve this activity.
The town around the dinner and show is ok. It entertained the kids for an hour. Some of the actors are way into making it a fun time, some are there biding there time. The show was good. They really do work hard at it. The kids loved it hands down. I wouldn't take them everytime we go out to visit family, but it was very much worth taking them, especially in the 5-10 year age range...they were totally enthralled. The food was quite good for a dinner show event like that. It was way better than what you would normally expect. Add on flying dinner rolls and the fact that seconds could be had of people's favorites and it was worth the cost.
We attended the last Holiday show. 3 adults and a 6 yr. old. Would probably not have gone had it not been recommended by a friend. Then read Trip Advisor reviews was sold. Wonderful staff and a fun combination of shops, displays and some free activities before the show. The food was much better than I expected and we were offered seconds of everything. The drinks were good and not overpriced. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and an easy drive from Sedona.
This little ranch will take you back to the wild west with the best hospitality, food, and entertainment there is to offer. They make you immediately feel like family. The shops are so cute and have great keepsakes. You can even get an "old time" photo taken to remember your trip to the west. Loved this place and think it is a great place to take your family for some fun. Will be back again!
Had a great time with old time cowboy music and fun skits. The performers are excellent professional musicians. The meal was good and fun family style setting. Will do it again.
Every year they put on a great Christmas show, old country western style! Great food too! They are extremely well organized with getting the food served and then on with the show!
