It was a very good set-up. I've been twice and enjoyed it both times. Want to go back but always seem to forget about it being here. I love going through the historic part of the building. This is where I attended school from first grade through eight. I am very proud that it wasn't torn down like the rest of the buildings in Cumming
intimate theatre that keeps a busy calendar. Concerts, plays, musicals, etc! Great location..........
Seating was comfortable. The show started on time. Very entertaining (a tribute Beatles band). Worth the cost of admission.
I took an out of town guest to this play---what a pleasant evening! We both enjoyed the music and the story line.Especially fun were the "gymnastics on the vine"!The venue is also interesting. We spent the intermission in the library of the old school house. What a gem---I am sorry more people don't go. Great value too.
A large group from our neighborhood went to the White Christmas show. It was OK, but it could have been shortened. Not as good as I had hoped as it was our first time. Might give it one more try if something sounds good.
I've been to the playhouse of couple of time. The venue in a good, intimate place to see a show. The talent of course varies with each show.
The Cumming Playhouse offers a different experience in entertainment. Located in what was originally a school auditorium, there is some type of show going on almost all the time ranging from plays put on by local theatre groups to performers from the Grand Ol' Opry. The stage is small, which limits the performers somewhat (I am a member of the Cumming Playhouse Singers so am keenly aware of this), but the auditorium is small also making it a cozy venue. If you are looking for entertainment that is slightly different in a nostalgic setting, then this is the place for you.
Saw this last year and The Cumming Playhouse did an awesome job. They really drew the audience into their performance. Have seen several of their productions and never left disappointed
First visit to Playhouse was to enjoy the quality White Christmas presentation. Highly recommend the Playhouse and Tam's restaurant. The historical artifacts are most interesting as well as the warmth & charm of the theater. All seats are good.
Very funny play about Mama having to travel cross country for a wedding. Many things goes wrong and all is not what you think until the end of the show. Very enjoyable.
