This place could be a magical place to enjoy a bottle of wine if the bottles weren't $80 or so. We did a tasting for $15 which included four wines. The wines were good but not my personal best wine ever. For the price per bottle, I thought it would be.You have to take a trip to the restroom which is located through the wine storage are. Whoever designed this place is incredible and took advantage of the views for sure.
Thank you for sharing your Archery Summit experience on Trip Advisor. The same gravitational pull keeps us excited to share and produce the best of the Willamette Valley. We look forward to your next visit!Cheers,Your friends at Archery Summit
We had a great experience at Archery Summit Winery. Our "wine expert" gave us close personal attention while describing each wine we tasted. The views of the Willamette Valley from the desk are stunning. The wines are a little expensive, but worth the money (the tasting fee is canceled if you buy a bottle of wine).
Beautiful wines served in wonderful stem ware while sitting on the front patio looking out over the vineyards and valley make for lower blood pressure. This is a perfect setting for friends or just taking in an afternoon tasting. No wine for sale here as their license does not allow it.
We are not wine snobs. We have been known to spend $ on a bottle of wine. Previous reviews made us worry that our palates would not measure up. Our experience was wonderful! We were served the most complex wines on our 5 winery tour. We were about to buy their signature wine, when an employee cautioned us to the taxes that would be experienced in Canada. I really appreciate her expertise in both tasting and shipping. As noted earlier, the estate and scenery are excellent. Definitely make this a stop in your Oregon wine tasting!
We visited Archery Summit Winery earlier today. The winery itself is set up on the hillside with a wonderful view over the vineyards and valley below. In this case, the wines lived up to the winery. All of the wines in the tasting we experienced were Pinot's and were all delicious. While the tasting list included only 4 wines, our hostess added several additional pours from bottles they already had opened, including a $150 Pinot Noir that was fabulous. The wines are generally on the pricey side ($45-85), but the $15 tasting fee was certainly worth it and the person leading the wine tasting was very informative and helpful. We would certainly recommend a visit to Archery Summit to any of our friends visiting the area.
What a great experience from start to finish. Started in the tasting room, toured the facilities and the wine caves. The wines were great, but the people made the experience fun. Highly recommend that you give them a visit. After we were finished, they gave us wonderful recommendations on some of the other wineries to visit in the area.
If you are a fan of dark, complex pinot noir, this is the place. In my opinion, it's some of the best pinot the Willamette Valley has to offer. Of course, it doesn't come cheap. The views from the winery are gorgeous.
I enjoyed my visit to Archery summit. The staff was great and i enjoyed the wines too. I bought two of the Riedel Oregon Pinot Noir Wine Glasses. The single vineyard wines were pricey so I bought the Cuvee Blend. The tasting room and barrel room are really cool.
During a recent visit to Willamette Valley, we discovered Archery Summit. This boutique winery produces a Pinot closer to a Northern California style; jammy, dark, layered and textured wine that is wonderful with a long finish. We liked the different tastings so well that we joined the wine club!!
