I recently attended a wedding on bloody point and was very impressed. I am glad i decided to sneak off to the club for drinks and food. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the all you can eat wings on gameday and the crab cake benedict when offered. Also the guy in the pro shop was very cool and added to the experience. Also a shout out to the guys running the ferry from the dock at the Westin, great dudes and fun to talk to. -Tice 11/15/14

March 2, I had a group of six friends on a day trip to Bloody Point Golf Club. We are all from a small town in Northeast Pennsylvania and members of Elkview CC. We found a rewarding golf day on Dafauskie Island. We we're meet by Mark Ford at the pier and shuttled to the course. Patrick Ford, the pro gave us a history of the course and his attitude was beyond people friendly. After 9 holes we had a wonderful lunch (with adult beverages) then completed the back nine. Do you golf game a favor and play Bloody Point. It is only going to get better.
From Patrick the GM and resident Guru, my wife and I found our experience yesterday at Bloody Point to be first class in every way. The personal approach was fabulous and everyone was extraordinarily nice. In one year when the greens are completely grown in this place will be THE golf destination. We highly recommend and will go back for certain
Were only here for the day but it was quiet, friendly, and just awesome. Beach is great, restaurant small and fun, great young bartender.
Recently visited Savannah Georgia and went to the Bloody Point Golf Club which is only accessible by boat. Great experience, course layout very good, greens are a work in progress but will improve no doubt. This is well worth the visit to experience the wild life and nature as part this island course. Be prepared to spend the whole day there between the boat ride and the course it's a full day out.
So much to say about Bloody Point that I can't possibly cover it all in this review! Here are the highlights:Special and heartfelt thanks to Carmen Rouleau, Patrick Ford, Julianna McCarthy, and Tia Ford for making us all feel welcome and "part of the family". This is a rare quality in today's world and clearly your strength! We enjoyed playing golf several times during our stay and the continuing effort to improve the course is evident. All equipment and facilities (Osprey Cottage, golf course, tennis courts, pool, beach, clubhouse, pro-shop, water-taxi, and golf carts) were well maintained and contributed to our enjoyment. The food and drink at the Eagle's Nest was delicious (divot's!!!!) and the service was great. Everyone of the staff that we came in contact with was professional and helpful. If you are looking for an amazing place to literally get away from it all, relax, have fun, and re-connect with your family and the environment, Bloody Point is it!We will be back next year and look forward to extending our stay!
Great resort recovering from a golf course that was a deer hunting ground after years of neglect. Greens still not 100% but getting better. The rest of the course is in great shape with unbelievable views. When's the last time you played with 2 bald eagles following you around? That's in addition to the gators, deer and wild turkeys. It's laid back, T times always available and 36 is cheap and easy.Great friendly staff and Patrick will always take care of you. This is a place not to miss.
Ed,Thank you so much for your review! I am glad you are excited about our progress. Your passion for Bloody Point mimics our own. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and unique family owned and operated establishment that provides excellent guest service and experiences. In addition, as a longtime vacationer to Daufuskie Island myself for over 25 years, I am disappointed that your experience was unsatisfactory.Pizza Night is a customer favorite and we often become fully booked far in advance. I am sorry that we were unable to provide you with your preferred reservation time and that the meal did not meet your expectations. I am glad, however, that your server was pleasant and helpful. Our guests and their experiences are extremely important to us. We will use your feedback to consider opportunities to improve our operations and high standards of service. Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss the matter further and so that we may discuss opportunities to make your experience and that of others better in the future.
