We drove up to the gate. It read closed. We were so bummed. We found the other entrance down the road. Park and walked right in.. Gorgeous and clean. It is such a pretty place. I didn't see any eagles that day but it was well worth a pretty winters day hike with my family
Love this park. Especially in the fall. If you ever get the chance to rent a shelter with a fireplace, it is a must for any fall family get together. The view is amazing. Best place to spend a quite afternoon.
This park is a must see. There are great views of the Mississippi and the Lock and Dam. The park is better in the summer when you can picnic, walk around, enjoy the views and more.
Very few parks leave such a wonderful impression. The architecture, the buildings, the facilities, and the views are incredible. A true gem for the city.
This was one of my favorite places to go sit and think during college. the views are amazing, and it is such a peaceful place to collect yourself
Park is so pretty. They used to keep it up better than they do. Could use a little extra care but still a very nice place to take family
This park is huge and has a lot to offer. There are several play areas, tenons courts, basketball courts, shelters and buildings you can reserve for reunions or parties It cost $1 per car to enter the park. The views of the Mississippi River and the lock and dam are very good.
This is a great park to visit on a trip through town for an awesome view over the Mississippi! Multiple parks for the kids to play at, including some great photography locations!
This park is wonderful, lots to explore and a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The only disappointment is that what is sometimes described as a splash pad is only a pipe with water spraying out.
Overlooking the mighty Mississippi River Valley at intersection of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. Minimal entry fee, $1 per car, is best deal in town. With pavilions, cooking and electric services, wading pools, horseshoe pads, and miles of trails. Gets its name from the many American Bald Eagles in the area.
