We have been there quite a few times. It seems like the slots are not paying out as much as before. They still have smoking in the casino...this smells terrible!
Nice Hotel with very friendly staff. Only improvement would be breakfast in the hotel. It will cost you 25 dollars a couple and no other place in the facility has any type such as continental breakfast or just something simple.
Visited here the other day.. Pit bosses wouldn't open up a $25 blackjack table for us. Left soon after so we didn't have to play with bad players. They must have enough business and didn't care about our play.
Had a late night evening meal here. My husband and I had to endure very mediocre service and entertainment by a solo guitar player. Chicken fingers were great, but the rest was fair. Very unlike a previous visit in April '14 which was wonderful.
They had a lot of slot machines and for some reason people just seemed very friendly here! Apparently if you are a gold card member (I'm guessing you'd have to spend a lot of money for that status) the casino gives you a lot of stuff free, free food, free hotel stays at the Hilton right next door, free entertainment, free drinks, etc. I walked out doubling my money and had a great time. They are open 24 hours a day and it is a smoking casino, although there is an area that is non-smoking. The only thing I didn't like at the casino was that the "waiters" or whatever they are called do not come around often or at all to see if you'd like drinks. I would definitely go here again! If you sign up for a players card you receive $5 on your players card to play on slot machines as well. I had a blast.
It's a basic casino. Nothing surprising or noteworthy. The smell of smoke is terrible. No one looked particularly happy to be there, but they were certainly dedicated to their leisure pursuits at the slots. I played blackjack, and our dealer was skillful and pleasant enough. Someone working the information desk was helpful and called a cab for us. Apparently the cabs show up...or not. It's a very existentially troubling experience overall.
This is a nice casino with slot machines and a few table games. No poker room though. Did not care for the smoking through out. The non-smoking room was small and didn't have many games in it.
Met up with friends to have lunch at the buffet before checking into our hotel (Country Inn). The food was just okay. They didn't have anything chocolate on the dessert table other than ice cream and topping which was a disappointment. The casino is divided into 2 separate rooms on either side on the entrance. Lots of machines to choose from and some table games. I don't know why other people were complaining about the smoke (I guess it's politically correct to do that now) as I thought it was one of the best ventilated, least smoky casinos I've been to.
Went for dinner & to do a few slots. Dinner was OK. Steak night was the theme. Fantail shrimp & lasagna rolls were the best on the buffet. Nothing really stood out as being "wonderful" The casino part was clean- but hated the smell of smoke & could not stay. Wishing there were a smoking room so it did not linger in the other parts of the casino. Will not bother going back.
