An amazing and impressive cathedral with very tall columns and of great length. It has some beautiful stained glass. So amazing to see what could be built in the 13th and 14th centuries
Went to the Saturday afternoon mass at 4:30 and then visited the cathedral afterwards. Very nice atmosphere.
Amazing cathedral impressive go for a mass if you can the music sounds amazing friendly community, the crypt is worth a visit on its own
In every city we went into churches and cathedrals to see the architecture. This cathedral was the brightest and had the warmest feeling of them all, the sunshine gave the place an aura of joy. The pictures reflect the difference in light between the two ends of the cathedral. Compared to the Notre Dame of Dijon, I would recommend you go see this instead (or too).
Although less specular then the other church, it remains a hughe cathedral . Don't forget the crypte (just a daim or so)
We had planned on seeing the inside of the Cathedral and of course the tile roof is brilliant but I hadn't done my home work before we left on our trip. I had no idea there was a crypt under the cathedral and found it more interesting than the Cathedral itself. No charge to enter the cathedral though you may find someone sitting at the door with a change bucket IMPLYING a charge, but this is a "donation" to the person holding the bucket, not an entrance fee. There is a small charge to see the crypt, you can buy a ticket inside the cathedral on the right side. Well worth it.
Caught this during a quick walk-about of Dijon and was in awe of the architecture caught by the evening sunset. Recommend.
Checkout the figures on top and beautiful architecture of this old cathedral. You will go past it on the owl trail.
Stupend gotic construction. You can spend a lot of time exploring the external part, finding very interesting and nice gargules.
Bright, light-filled ancient non-gothic cathedral with a few stunning stained glass windows. Front facade is under restoration but the crypt is well worth a visit.
