This winery and the Broad Run Cheese House had a quaint entrance and pleasant people working there, but the wine was average.
We always make this one of our stops when in the area visiting. They have decent wines and good cheese/dips. One of my favorite things here is that they always have a sangria that they make and will instucions on how to make it. They have a lot of interesting retail items for sale too. Seems like my wife always finds something for the house there. It is walking distance to another winery and great way to try several different types of wines in one stop.
The cheese was very good. Parking was a little tight. There are three wineries in the area altogether. This one seemed to be more of a cheese house.
Stop there as often as we can,They take a wine and put different type of mixers in it,all that we have tried have been very good
Love their wine! Buy it by the case. The reds are my favorite but they also have a delicious sweet white.
We really enjoyed this quaint little store. We didn't love the wine as much as the Breitenbach wines. However, they do have some very good samples of dips and salsas. It is right next door to the other winery. So, it is worth stopping.
We come in often as we live in the area and are never disappointed! Always great service and the wine is heavenly. Back to the 40's Red is a favorite, as is Doggone Good. Keep up the good work.
Winery and cheese factory combination. Fabulous. Staff is very friendly, lots of coordinating snacks, crackers, dips and cheeses to compliment the various wines. Freshest cheese I have ever had.
Very friently place with varitey of wines. Great wine dog and gift shop with cheese and other snacks. Good location and easy to get to.
The wine here is good, the staff friendly....and its combined with a cheese shop that sells the best swiss cheese - its fantastic. I wish they had a place to enjoy some wine and some cheese on the premises. They would draw in a great deal more business if they offered their guests a little more options.
