If you love baskets, definitely a must see. Stopped in Dresden to shop for basket accessories and Longaberger.
It's falling apart . . . A disgrace to the town. It's not the world's largest basket! It's an eyesore. It needs a chainsaw taken to it and put in a pile to be burned for a town wiener roast. Or properly repair the ugly reminder. Dave won't be mad. If he were alive he'd never stand for it to look the way it is with his name on it.
Overall it felt like a good event this year and ran smoothly and it was not crowded. They did change locations of several events due to rain and originally renamed some locations so that was a little confusing.
The place is not great but a decent thing to come and see I always come and see it and Dresden is a cute little town with tons of shopping
The town of Dresden is very nice with lots of shopping and oh yes,a large basket. Nice to see once but certainly not worth coming to Dresden for that only. It is what it is,take a few pictures and move on.
Huge basket, not sure the materials, but woven to look like the small ones. The basket is typical of the Longerberger market basket and is a giant reproduction
The basket is very unique. It is time though to renovate it. It needs to be maintained. It is in the central part of the city and very picturesque
You can see this building from various driving points...really neat landmark. Didn't get a chance to go inside but definitely will try on my next visit.
It was a beautiful place with great breakfast and the scenery was beautiful. We liked the drive to the property since we drove to get there. The back part of the building has a great place for big parties.
IT's just a huge basket. More fun are the many basket shops in this little town. You will buy baskets, whether you plan to or not.
