What a great review. You are sooo right. We may be a little museum but every effort goes into making the visitors' experience a HUGE one! Ciaran is a great guide, entertaining and informative, an unbeatable combination. Hatch & Sons, the cafe down below, is just the best and as for the Waterford Blaa with bacon, unbeatable! Thanks for reviewing us so generously and come back and see us again as our exhibits do change.
Thanks for your lovely review and visit. Ciaran is a great guide and very entertaining. We would love you to come back and see us again as our exhibits change regularly.
Can't Dublin Bus spot a winner!! The bus ticket is one of the ways our visitors find us and they often arrive with no idea what they are about to experience and blown away is what they are. Adam is a fantastic guide, with a wealth of information and a wicked sense of humour. Thanks for the lovely review and recommendation.
Lots to see and do here, great little café underneath too but can get busy during lunch periods unsure if you can book a table but worth trying to find outI didn't take the tour itself but enjoyed it all the same
Time your visit well - the tour is not to be missed! A way of learning about the history of Dublin in an entertaining way.
We are delighted you weren't disappointed! Well done and hanging out for the guided tour. It really does make sense of our artefacts, all of which were donated by the good people of Dublin. Our WW1 exhibition is a special one telling the story, as it does, of the Guinness brewery employees and the Great European War.
We visited this little museum as the first stop on our mini break it gave us loads of info on the history of Dublin
Thanks for visiting us and we are delighted that you enjoyed it. We may be small but we like to thing we give a BIG experience! June is a great guide and loves to share her extensive knowledge of Dublin with our guests. We are appreciative of your recommendation and review.
Thanks for your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit. There is a lot packed into our exhibition space, all of it donated by the people of Dublin. Come and see us again soon as our exhibits change regularly.
I attended this tour and it was very interesting. It is quite a gem with various items relating to twentieth century Ireland covering the walls of the beautiful Georgian house . I think the museum is suitable for all ages. We had a tour which was very quick, about 20 minutes, but our tour guide did point out things that we would have missed. There is also a U2 room upstairs if you are a fan. I would highly recommend visiting this museum and would squeeze it into your itinerary.
