This was a lovely centre to find out what was on locally, nice friendly staff, warm and welcoming . We found several of our gifts here as Dunoon as a whole didn't have much in a way of local gifts .
Maureen, the advisor in Visit Scotland, couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. It was very difficult to get rooms because of the Commonwealth Games but she persisted, and got us rooms in Oban. She gave us very good and useful advice about Iona and ferries and about the bus journey across Mull. She advised us on where best to eat, and generally could not have done more for us. She is a treasure, and Visit Scotland should be proud to have her working for them.
Staff was so likable and helpful, they gave me a lot of maps, informations and bus timetables. Really nice people with great knowledge abou local attractions and what interested me the most - local walks!
This was a great place to get info and some souvenirs. Not a lot of stuff but some nice. They had fliers of things to do and were helpful with finding things.
excellent place to catch up on whats going on in the place and also the best places for evening meals
I went in here to check on local walks. the man at the desk could not have been more helpful. He took the time to go through a number of options and explained the pros and cons of each option as well as offering suggestions of travel.Excellent service
We were really impressed by the staff and general atmosphere of this place would highly recommend. Also full of interesting gifts and information as you would expect but don't always get
