Very fun stop in Dunedin. Tried a couple sample sizes which were nice and affordable. Very peaceful little place.
We stopped in to try this place while visiting the area, we were never greeted, and never asked if we needed anything the guy at the bar was more interested in talking to his two buddies at the bar, we stood and waited but was left feeling we were in the way, we walked out without trying the beer, shame if would have liked to try their brew, we moved on and will not be back
The beer here is pretty good, but by far the best feature about this place is being able to sit outside and enjoy them. Although there were no servers outside asking if things were OK or if we wanted something else, it wasn't a big deal to walk inside for the next beer.
Came in from Alaska. Very impressed with the interesting variety of beers and fell in love with the Mangrove 2x IPA. Wish I could get it in AK. Good low key atmosphere, good people vibe and the beer tender was a babe. Definitely spend more time here than the place across the street.
Beers were interesting, and there is a nice outdoor covered sitting area overlooking the parking lot. This is simply a tasting room, meaning no food is available. A bit of a let down after the great experience we had at Dunedin.
7venth Sun is small and on a main road but they are big with their beer selection and atmosphere. The Graffiti Orange is one of the best I have had in the category. I also sampled Your Doing it all Wrong and Time Bomb (both IPA's had a unique hop character). I also had Nib Smuggler (Chocolate Porter) by Funky Buddha and finished with Fragrant Arrogance (Dry Hopped Barrel aged wheat). All the beers were above average and the service was fantastic!
We were driving around and saw this . I asked my husband to stop. He was hesitant since there was a line outside and it was a very small place. They had an interesting assortment of beer. The staff was busy but they were very friendly. There were stools by the glass window where you could sit and watch the traffic outside or watch the other people drinking beer outside. Some customers knew each other. A couple of them has brought their dogs on a leash. I took a picture of the bulldog and the owner was friendly. My husband enjoyed his beer but we did not stay too long. If you are in the area, check out this place out.
Tons of aweosme local beer.glasses to drink while there or growlers to go...or both :) along with their own brews they have guest brewers...including some fun berry mead for the wine fans!
We had sampled beer by 7venth Sun Brewing at a beerfest in Oldsmar recently. We were quite pleased with their products and decided to check out their establishment. Be advised that the customer area is small, very limited seating inside and out. Most locals just enjoy their glass of beer outside. There's a chalk board on the wall with the various available drafts listed. We stopped here on a Friday night close to 9:30pm and it was busy. This is not a place to have munchies with your beer. Have your drink(s) and venture elsewhere in Dunedin if you desire something decent to eat. There is a quick convenience store across the street if you really just need a little something.
If you're looking for a no frills tap room with great beer, look no further. Right on Alt 19 in a very small space this place cranks out awesome beer. Try the Graffiti Orange and if you like IPA's the Time Bomb and its big brother the Mangrove Double IPA. I didn't like the others as much but these were a home run.
