I was amazed that I had never hear of this Old Town. It was so beautiful. It made me wish I had a better camera or could paint.
Narrow streets, some cobbled. Loads of fashion shops, small eateries and loads of charm. We really enjoyed shopping there and you can get a bargain. I'd think there's something for everyone in this area. Though probably not great for the "clubbing" age group. This is probably more for older age group or those with younger children.
We had some bad weather while staying in Tossa, so went exploring the old town and enjoyed it tremendously - nice narrow streets with so much greenery and atmosphere. Lots of restaurants and shops too. The town itself is very cozy and pleasant, unlike Lloret de Mar (if you stayed there, you know what I mean), the only disadvantage is that most shops and restaurants close too early. Tossa is a little gem of Catalunya, without doubt.
Rustic and charming. Narrow streets and tucked away bars for a refreshing beer on a warm day. Dodging the scooters was a pain and several shops had closed for the season but overall a really enjoyable place to visit
It's Tossa de Mar as we know it and it's cosy and friendly and safeWe love the selection of restuarants, all within walking distance. There is nothing to dislike
We absolutely delighted in walking the cobbled streets and looking at the quaint street scenes. We drove from Barcelona especially to see Tossa de Mar and were very glad we did.
Villa Vella of Tossa is a charming village surrounded by the walls of Tossa Castle where you can spend a nice afternoon walking around. End the evening in some bar or coffe having some tapas and relaxing or shopping in the picturesque "tiendas".
it's a nice place to have a stroll. you can walk through tiny streets, where you will find small shops with fruits, veggies and some local things. the streets smell fresh bakery so you will definitely find a cafe and have a cup of coffee with a croissant or you can go to the restaurant and have some local food)
lovely and quaint authentic and unspolit very spanish lovely bars and resturants views from top of castle fantastic.
This place takes your breath away. You are transposed in a world which you thought existed only in fairy tales. Picture perfect houses, cobbled streets, immaculate gardens just keep you spell bound. And trust me, this is not some set of a Hollywood movie, but an actual medieval village at Costa brava's Tossa De Mar. Must see to believe it. About 100 kilometers from Barcelona, this town has to be a part of your Catalonian trip...Must do.
