已经是第二次去杜塞尔多夫的这个机场,很大的机场 ,不愧是旅游购物的大都市!!机场建设的也很好,购物也方便。这次坐的「柏林航空」没有摆渡,直接进的机场
What's to say? Our Dusseldorf Card was still valid, so this was a free and pleasant way to spend the time waiting for our flight home - planes taking off, planes landing, things being moved around - busy busy busy. Now, if they could just get the planes to land a little closer to the platform...
If you are a plane spotter or simply like to observe taking offs and landings of airplanes then this attraction is ideal way of spending your spare time at Duesseldorf airport. Give yourself 1+ hour(s) to watch planes on this observation point. Especially during summer and spring months when whether is nice and clear planes are going to be very easily catchable. There is an entrance fee (I think approximately 2.5 euros per day). Anyway recomended :)
nice place to hang out went here with family had a coffee and relaxed the 721 bus took us there was very quick 2 and half euros
It was a pleasant surprise to come across this shopping arcade in Düsseldorf airport.Located at the departure area this arcade showcases many shops and restaurants. It is a good place to buy last minute stuff or just walk around if you have time before your flight.
The terraces of this airport are amazing, actually there are just a few airports around the world which allow visitors to be so close to planes. the people is very kind and the shops are evrywhere... even more, there you can buy tours for the rest of germany and europe .... take your time on your arrival or departure and experience this place ..... holy place for spotters like me :)
This was a bright colouful area. Fantastic range of shops. if you have missed anyone in your trip you will find something here. overall the airport is quite nice makes a change from the huge airports that i have to go to. Staff here were very nice and polite.
Had a bit of a lay over while awaiting flight to Zurich. Being an aviation fan I thought I would check it out. Was glad that I did.
As airports go, this is much better than most. There are a great many shops and the Duty Free store is excellent. There are many bars and food outlets to help you pass the time waiting for your flight and you get great views of the planes landing and taking off.Zigolini's is a good bar to enjoy a drink and the food is good too.
We had a long layover in Dusseldorf and came upon this looking for a way to occupy some time. Admission was 2.20 euro per person to the observation deck, where you are up close and personal with the planes that are departing. It was very pleasant on a warm summer day, and my airplane-obsessed husband loved seeing all the different types of planes and airlines we don't normally see in the US. I think kids would really like it too.
