The lighthouse is small but very interesting. Donations were asked for at the lighthouse to go inside and up the stairs, but it wasn't necessary. We donated $10 and got a free video of the history and saving the lighthouse. Well worth the trip, video and experience. While there, don't forget to use the path to see The Three Sisters loghthouses that were saved. Glad we did because it has history in the video of how they were saved and their purpose. The current lighthouse replaced them.
It's a lighthouse. We missed the tour of the inside by a few weeks (too late in the season). Still fun to see and walk around. (Also a short walk to the Three Sisters.)
Great to see the lighthouse that I've always seen in photos. The history and it's value for seafaring people was interesting.
This lighthouse is easily accessible so you can get some up close photos. It is close to the beach as well. The lighthouses along the coast really are charming, and all have their unique charm. This one reminded me of one that is on Nantucket Island- but that one wasn't as accessible, so that is definitely a plus for this one. The area has a lot of signs, so easy to get to and follow.
The lighthouse is in a beautiful area and is well worth the drive even if you don't go inside - we didn't due to lack of time. Be sure to see the Three Sisters lights nearby.
This charming light house is very well preserved. And it's located in a very nice area, just across the cute Cable Station House (French Cable Hut, built in 1891 by the French Cable Company) and Nauset beach. All them deserve a quick look.
There are so many lighthouses in New England to go see. This one is a must! Nice area to drive by the light and take pics and pull off to go to the beach.
The lighthouse and adjacent beach are located a short distance from Hwy 6 and have ample parking available. While not open, the parking lot did have a booth at the entrance, so assume they charge during the summer, but in October it is free.Lighthouse is a short walk from the parking lot and is accessible to walk around, but no access to the light or tours were available on the day we visited. The ocean views are outstanding. Photo ops abound.Check out the reviews on Nauset Light Beach.Definitely worth a visit if driving along Hwy 6 to the end.
This one was hard to get to as the parking lot to the beach was full. My husband dropped us girls off and we ran up to the lighthouse and took pictures. The girls learned it is the lighthouse on the potato chip bag. We then hopped back in the car. A short ways down the road, we pulled over on the side of the road and took a picture of The Three Sisters Lighthouses. It was a little crazy but fun.
The lighthouse is not large but in a nice setting and pretty. I didn't try to go inside, spent more time at the beach area near it. There is a walking path by it and it is nice looking. You can see it from the road to Nauset beach or park in the beach parking lot and walk around it and down the path.
