A gateway and great introduction to the Cape Cod National Seashore. Walking trails, museum, displays, movies, outdoor ampitheather for music and talks, they do things all year round!. Friendly and helpful staff
The visitor center has a helpful staff to answer all of your questions about The National Seashore. Beautiful view from the lobby of the Salt Marsh. It has a nice selection of books/maps in the gift store as well as other items. Large parking lot, even for a RV, close to bike path, hiking trails, restrooms, amphitheater. Our favorite bike ride heads towards Coast Guard Beach from there.
This is a very nice visitor center with a lot of information for the visitor. The rangers are a great source of information about trails etc. Nice maps of the park showing the trails. The movies were very interesting and a great way to learn about the history as well as the natural history area. A nice gift shop was well stocked with interesting souvenirs and shops. There is also a small museum with a lot of information and displays about the history of the area including the earlier inhabitants.Step outside and enjoy beautiful views of the salt hole, a kettle pond with salt water in it.Bathrooms are available.Probably the place to stop before you start your visit so you can have a better idea of how to plan your day.
Beautiful stop and very educational. The films with the explanations about the formation of Cape Cod and the whaling ships were excellent. Plus, the easy hiking paths were a delight to walk on with the interpretive signs. The maps and displays were great inside the visitor's center. Information provided about the First Nation people - their way of life and language was very interesting to me and something I had not seen elsewhere on the Cape.
The staff at the visitor center is very welcoming and helpfull. The ranger gave us really good tips about trails and beaches around this area. There is also a museum and a nice shop where we bought some postcards and magnets. We took a quick look into the photography exhibit. The pictures were beautiful.
Interesting museum and movies. The rangers are very helpful in helping you plan your trip. There are also nice nature walks.

We've been here a couple of times and they have a nice information desk, small museum and gift shop (with many nice Cape Cod items). Definitely recommend for first timers. They also have nice restroom facilities if you need to stop before going out to one of the beaches.
The staff was helpful & courteous. They offered great ideas for walks & local history talks. The displays were interesting, too.
