My children absolutely loved the drive in! They can't wait to go again. The drive in had a playground area for the younger children to play while waiting for the movie to start. There is a great concession stand and patio area as well. Will definitely visit again!
Good food, great movies, and a playground for the kids to use between movies. Awesome! Great for families, couples, or group of friends. If you come to Eden early in the day, you can shop downtown (only a mile away, on Washington Street-the road directly in front of the drive-in) Makes for a great Saturday out!
It is so much fun to be in a safe place where you feel you can let your kids go freely and still be in the area with them. Great food, friendly staff, and total Nostalgia. It is great as a date night too!
We had a blast at the Eden Drive In. There is a fun playground for the kids. The food is great. The people are friendly. We even met a nice family parked next to us. We need more good, clean places like this for families to enjoy.
The Eden Drive In is one of the only authentic drive in movie theaters left. They are open on weekend nights in the summer and play current releases. It is a great experience if you have never been. The food is good as well. Definite recommendation for couples or families looking for a fun evening outdoors watching a great movie. They also show double features.
We went to see a new movie and this was my first outdoor theater experience. I will be going back. The only issues are that there was a slight echo happening. Also, since its outdoor expect a lot of kids. Even if the movie is rated R. Thu have tons of food choices at the concession stand. Also, get there right when they open so you can get a top parking spot.
Has it been a while since you've been to see a new release? This might be the place for you! First, eat before you go, the prices for the food are fair but the quality is not the best. Second, take your own drinks in a cooler and candy, popcorn, and snacks because they charge less than a regular consecions stand but who wants to leave the car? They have a playground for kids and we watched the teens playing volleyball and soccer by the screen before the movie started. We were told to get there close to seven to get a good spot, but the movie didn't start until nine. We brought the dsi to entertain the kid. They show a double feature. Half the crowd left after the first movie. Long lines at the restroom for those who stayed. We ended up leaving at 1:30 in the morning, which made for a really long time. Really small kids would need a place to sleep. Overall a good value and time. Try to park to the left, the street lights can be distracting on the right.
Its such a good price! $5 a person and u get to watch 2 movies. The little cafe is really cute and the staff is friendly. We say outside at the tables and ate food while we watched the movies.
Family owned and operated.. great movies, great fun, and fantastic food. you can stay in your vehicles, put a blanket on the grass or sit out on the large deck. The price is right .. oh and don't let me forget to mention their milkshakes and burgers... those alone are worth the visit. They also have a large play area for the kids.
I love taking my children here it is a very family oriented place even a great place for date night. However, one thing that I do hope that they change is when we first went in I started to turn around because the woman that took our money before driving in wasnt paying any attention then after sitting for about 10 minutes right beside her she opens the window and she had some other lady in the box with her talking about her iphone she then rolled her eyes and shut the window after we payed it was very disrespectful and rude!ugh.I couldnt believe it so just be prepared for that if you decide to visit but other than that this is a great place!<3
