This golf course is the only "links" style golf course in the Rio Grande Valley. Very nicely conditioned with nice, fast, true rolling greens. Full bar and grill with nice staff.
We only played 9 but wish we could have done all 18. There are lots of hills and sand and water. This was the first time on this course but will be back to do all 18.
I have played at almost every golf course in the valley and this course is #1 in my book. Cimarron is a close 2nd. I love the wide openness of Los Lagos. I'll recommend this course to anyone
Very good links-style golf course with well- manicured greens, excellent fairways, and great aesthetic appeal. Of the several courses played in the Rio Grande Valley, this is my favorite.
Lots of nice hole but many with views of abandoned waterparks, and un-developed land with acres of "agriculture" for what I can only assume is for tax purposes.
My brother and I were looking to play some golf and heard about it after playing in Brownsville. Worth the trip over to play it. Great greens and fun course but tough. Tons of sand and water. Was busy but still got in 18 in three hours. Restaurant staff was great. Sat and watched the game. Will definitely play again next time down.
