Anytime my grandchildren ages 4 to 10 come to town they beg me to go here. Its a good place to spend the day especially if the weather is decent so you can spend half your time inside the museum and half your time outside.
There is a lot to do for kids of all ages. My toddler loves it so much we purchase a membership, which is actually a pretty terrific deal. The exhibits change about every six months, with some areas that are always there. Love the wood shop where kids can try their hand at making things, there is also a watercolor painting area and a toddler area. There is also a special area for the really small kids (think babies on up). My daughter especially loves the giant "light bright" which she spends at least 10 minutes playing with on every visit. She also loves the small animals - lizards, snakes, fish, turtles, ferrets, guinea pigs, and more. On occasion they will bring some of the animals out of their enclosures so the kids can pet them. But probably the best part is what they call Adventure Zone, which is an outdoor playground with a variety of slides, climbing structures, swings, and a huge sandbox. There is a little kids area out there, too, with toddler swings, a toddler sandbox, and a toddler slide. They even do birthday parties.
If you have young kids, this is a great place to spend the day. The indoor part if the museum has several hands on activities as well as animals and a traveling display. The outside part of the museum is wonderful! The kids can climb around a castle. There is a seasonal water area as well as playground swings, etc. It is great!
Lots to do & see inside the main building. Games, organized activities, live animals, etc. There is a large outdoor playground with steps, rope bridge, swings, sand pit, wood towers that allow passage from one tower to another.Plan at least 3/4 of a day here, as the kids will not want to leave.
my niece and nephew love to go here and so do many other kuds from the area. there are lots of things to keep kids busy.
My kids love leonardos. I love getting to sit and read while they play in the outdoor adventure quest. It is fun for the 10 and under age group
We had such a great time. We were in Enid for three days and we went twice. The animals and reptiles were so fun for the kids to touch. Loved the dinosaurs. Everything there is hands on. I played right along with the kids. It was hot when we were there, so the outside portion wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been. It was too hot to play on anything. The kids just played in the water.
Indoors and out this is a fun place to spend the afternoon in Enid. We went to Enid for a church event and had to stop here. We lived in Enid before and this is one great place. Hands on science fun for the whole family!!!
All kinds of things to do like build a racecar out of Legos, build something out of wood, paint a picture, play in the medieval castle, and more
Fun things to do inside for kiddos of all ages and a great/large play area outside to help run off the kids energy.
