Wehrenberg, is typical multiplex. Everything is overpriced. The theater, has no personality. The only perk is the selection.
You can't go wrong with a movie at Wehrenberg. Great technology and friendly staff. I am always impressed with the ticket takers!!! For a great deal on late run movies check out the St. Clair 10 Cine in fairview for $3 movies.
If you can wait for a movie to be around for a few weeks without seeing it - go to the Wehrenberg 10 on Ludwig, Fairview Heights. Can't beat the price of $3 or $1.50-military for a big screen experience. So affordable- you can take the neighbor's kids on a weekend. Perfect for elderly couples in the afternoon or moms during school hours. It's never crowded & obnoxious people in the audience are rare- if at all. Best buy in Fairview Heights.
We went to a popular movie and had to sit very close to the screen because the theater was so small. Wife got dizzy watching the action. I'll go back, but by myself.. She's not going back there, she'll "wait for the DVD"..
While movie theaters don't often get reviewed, this one definitely deserves one! From the time you buy your ticket to the time you get your popcorn, the staff is friendly, professional and very accomodating! The theaters are spacious for first run movies and more intimate for older films. The 3-D experience is awesome, as well.
Like the theater it had very comfortable seats. The sound effect s were great. The popcorn was pricey but fresh.
They are very professional and well set up. All the movies in the three different theaters we visited were digital. The concessions, while expensive (what's new about that?) were very good. In Fairview Heights they had an extremely reduced price for movies that were no longer main runs.
My husband and I enjoy visiting Wehrenbergs when we are in town. The theater is clean and modern and the sound quality is great.
Clean, modern theater. Sound is LOUD, like it should be at a move. My number one choice for going to see a movie, and it you go before noon, its way cheaper!
I love going to a Wehrenberg theatre because of the stadium seating. My husband is handicapped, and there is nothing worse than getting him settled into his seat only to need to stand up to allow somebody to pass to enter the row. At the Wehrenberg theatre the stadium seating eliminated that, and makes it more enjoyable for everyone. People can pass in front of you without things becoming personal. The nachos are always good and the theatre is always clean, at least before the movie starts. The Wehrenberg theatre I go to has 15 screens, some of the viewing rooms are small with maybe only seating for 30 people. wehreberg has been around for over 100 years and no how to make movie going fun.
