Myrtle Creek used to be a great place to visit but then gradually started to decline. New management was put in place last year though and now it's off the charts. Whenever we have friends come to town now this is one of the must see places. The cafe for lunch on the patio is great but you must have their homemade berry pie!
This destination nursery offers numerous attractions from plants and botanical rarities, to a small cafe where you can purchase pre-made sandwiches and sit on the terrace for lunch.Great gift shop, too! Check out their website to find out the latest activities.
We visited Myrtle Creek Botanical Gardens and Nursery with friends. We took a pleasant stroll in the gardens and looked at the old farm equipment, plants and other displays. We also enjoyed a very good lunch at the cafe.
It was cool. I mean that, almost cold. March 4, 2015. Check out the artwork for sale and the plants. Skip the pie. It was dry as a bone. Nice people. People were buying a lot of plants and that speaks well for a nursery
Not only the location is breathtaking but the employees are heartwarming and friendly. They have a cafe and a shop with unique products.Don't forget to check out their events, which is also great to spend some time with your family. We will go back soon to sit back and relax.A hidden secret that needs to be known to the public.Stephanie and Mike
This is a nursery that is a little made up for nostalgia. The food consists of fast-food brought in ready packaged from some place. They also have a (one kind) of pie that is ok. It is a poor excuse for an entertaining place. I have tried it a few times to buy plants, I have given up I would not even recommend it as a plain plant nursery.
This place is awesome and inspiring. If I lived around here, I would be here all the time, getting ideas and buying plants.
If you can visit during the Christmas holidays you get an extra treat. If you miss that visit anyway. The photo ops are endless. Beautiful and historic grounds with ponds, barns, waterfalls, shops, café. If you are looking for ideas for the yard or garden you will find them here. The shop has great gift and decorating items all year.
We luv this place! My girlfriends and I made a day of it last month and had the best time making fairy gardens. The Café has yummy fresh organic wraps and I love the strawberry salad. I’ve been back for lunch at least once a week and I love the pie – I took one home and my family loved it too. I like just walking the grounds. It’s so beautiful and relaxing. This is my new favorite place! Oh, and their gift shop is amazing too! You won’t be able to resist.
I was in town for a wedding and looking for something to do with my daughter and we found this hidden gem. It appeared to be a nursery but as we explored realized it was a destination with a nursery at its entrance! Something new and unique around every corner! We came to buy a gift and ended up staying for hours! You MUST get a picnic basket, grab a planet and find a spot under a tree and enjoy locally grown ingredients in salads and sandwiches and leave room for the PIE!!! The people are as friendly as they come and the farm has such beauty! Make sure to add this to your itinerary as you plan your day in Fallbrook or the surrounding areas!
