The day was sunny an gorgeous when we pulled in. We were sincerely welcomed, and my wife immediately struck up a conversation with everyone working. The selection of wines and the beautiful gift shop ( in a 100 year old barn ) were outstanding. We favor dry white, and after sampling, purchased two different types. The prices are amazingly low for such good tasting wine. The next time we are traveling through, we plan on spending much more time, as I feel we barely scratched the surface of this wonderful destination.
Cute winery with lots of gift and home items for sale. But who needs that when you wine is as good as theirs! Go in the fall and try some of the warm groundhog grog, makes me warm thinking about it!
My wife and I stopped on our way to Ridgway, PA and tried both a variety of reds and whites. Not being a big fan of reds, I was quite surprised that we found two different reds that we absolutely loved. The Rattlesnake Red was outstanding as was the special edition Benezette Red, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the reintroduction of elk into Pennsylvania.Be sure to take a couple extra moments and go upstairs to the gift shop. Lots of fun and unique gift ideas.
I have to say of all the wineries this is by far the only one that we liked all their wines, have a great selection and the staff is very friendly and helpful
Always take a case of wine home when we are on our way to the Chainsaw Rendezvous in Ridgway. Very nice selection of wines.

This is a very fun winery, and it is the first time that I have ordered cases of wine to be shipped to my home in Michigan. The Treasure Lake White is absolutely AMAZING. It almost has no taste of alcohol in it and goes down so smooth (trust me, there IS alcohol in it). You will find yourself drinking a whole bottle because of it's amazingly smooth taste.I am also in love with their concord grape wine. It's delicious. If you happen to be in the area for the Groundhog Day festival, you MUST stop here. Their wines are some of the best that I have ever had.Thank you so much for your wonderful wines and respectable prices!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We always love to hear from customers. Glad you found a few wines you enjoyed. Hope if you are back in the area you stop back in and see us.Not sure when you visited but we do have bathrooms, they are not in the winery but up at the pavilion. So you do have to walk up to them but they are not port-a-johns. We have had port-a-johns here for certain events. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Laurel Mountain is set in the beautiful countryside of Pennsylvania. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the wines are excellent.
