Thanks Marlene! We enjoyed having you and can't wait to see you again!
This may have been the worst casino I've ever visited. We were there on New Years Day and things were most certainly "off". The dealers were awful. AWFUL. On the Craps table, there was only 1 person who knew how to play the game. They kept confusing bets and paying out the wrong people. Black Jack was no better. Dealer was a bit more lively, but made simple mistakes-- even forgot to deal herself cards. We met anther person who had a bet not honored because the dealer didn't understand the table limits. Total amateur league effort. Even the valet/coat check was a mess. It's the same 1 man... so if he's parking cars, there's no way to get your coat. On top of that, it's very small. There are a fair number of slots, but tables are abysmal. 2 craps tables, 2 roulettes, 4 black jacks and 2 or 4 poker. Only half the tables were open and they were all packed. When you walk in, expect a wall of cigar and cigarette smoke to knock you over. The only positive that I can give them is that they have a free Pepsi & coffee station. (woo hoo!)
We usually go to Rivers Casino or Niagara Falls so this was our first trip to Lady Luck. It was a very nice, well kept casino on Nemacolin property. They had a rewards program which was nice with a good promotion going on. We would definitely return there.
Nice small casino that was not overly crowded and well maintained. Plenty of staff who are friendly.
Thank you for your feedback and the positive rating, Gina!
While the dealers are very pleasant, the place allows smoking so you did not want to sepnd too much time there. Had to dry clean all my clothes to ge tout the smoke smell.
This place had an overall nice feel, the smoke was bad. I walked in and then out within about 5 minuets. I play craps and literally within arms reach of the table was a sign that said no smoking area, however their we a couple women smoking at the table. Lucky for the house as I usually chew them up. Smoke was bad
The Casino had both smoking and non-smoking sections. We were able to enjoy the facility more on the non-smoking side.
Lady Luck is the "newer" Casino serving the guests at Nemacolin as well as players who join their players club. A group of us visited there over the New Year's eve holiday. Our plans were to go to the Casino, play some slots and table games and have dinner. Sounded like a nice plan but Lady Luck doesn't work like that. First of all there is the smoke and plenty of it. We were told the Casino was "50-50" with respect to smoking. We can only surmise they meant 50 people smoking 50 cigarettes each. It was awful. Then came the food. There are two options: Otis and Henrys, which had a 1 1/2 hour wait or The Lone Wolf, a bar that only had pre-made cold sandwiches that evening. Not exactly the culinary capital of Pennsylvania. The Lady Luck looks very tired for a newer facility. Not much excitement either. We would recommend passing on this venue and taking the money and going out to a nice dinner.
I'm not a smoker so I don't enjoy places with smoking. The games were fun and the free play money was a real bonus.
