Nice place. Good wine and great service. If you haven't been to the Ste Genevieve and Farmington area wineries, it's worth the road trip. And spend your time at the boutique wineries like this one. You won't be disappointed. Is the Angelina poster still there? Sweet.
We stumbled upon this winery and we were so glad we decided to stop in. The two employees were entertaining!! They answered a lot of questions regarding the wine, had homemade salsa for us, also offered tastings of the wine drinks and beer. We were not the only group tasting wine when and the staff did a great job making everyone feel welcome. The music was at a perfect volume to be able to chat with friends. We bought a few bottles and grabbed some lounge furniture outside. One of the girls working came out to check on the quests and asked if we were all doing okay. I would highly recomment Twin Oaks!!!
Very quaint winery and vineyard. Wines are very good and the staff was very accommodating. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip
This small winery has a large patio with a lovely view of the vineyard. Nice indoor space for special events with good staff. Not a long drive from Farmington.
During our March visit to Farmington, MO, we stopped by Twin Oaks Vineyard and Winery. Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon with some great wine, good company, and a little NCAA basketball on the tvs. Several groups walked in during the afternoon, and were also enjoying the relaxing setting. The owners and servers were a blast to chat with, and made the visit most enjoyable. Will definitely plan on returning on our next visit, and hopefully during warmer weather, to enjoy their outdoor patio, and some live music, while overlooking the vineyard and pond.
We looked and looked for a place to host our rehearsal dinner in the area that would allow us to bring in our own food and get the rest catered. Twin Oaks was the only place! They were extremely helpful and nice when we met with them to discuss the dinner. The tasting room is really a great space with a big fireplace and beautiful decor. Big enough to seat 50 without feeling tight but still cozy at the same time. The porch area is really beautiful and would be amazing during the warmer months! They let us completely take over the tasting room and fry our own fish out back behind the tasting room. Bar service was fast and helpful, answering any questions guests had about the wines and beer they offered. They set us up with a caterer that they highly recommended, but unfortunately right before our event they had a big falling out and banned him from their property. However, the winery really stepped up and prepared the menu we had discussed without any problems. Everything was really great and we all had such a good time! They made everything so easy and were such a pleasure to work with! They really let you throw the type of event you want with the food you want!! I would highly recommend a visit to this little winery for a glass of wine or to host your next event!
Great atmosphere, seating indoor or outdoors are both available, relaxing, friendly staff, and I highly recommend the "Two Brothers" wine. It's a great sweet red wine.
The other reviewers have done a nice job of explaining the property. I like the fact that they have a covered patio outside so you can go rain or shine. Good live music. Wine wasn't my favorite, but to each his own! You pay for the wine tasting and then get to keep your glass.
This was stop 1 of 6 in our 2-day tour of SE MO wineries. Nice place and very nice folks, and several nice wines. She explained the wines such that we knew what to expect before we tasted. We didn't hang out there, but the facilities are very conducive to doing so.
I was very impressed. As we drove onto the road to the winery, we were surrounded on either side by beautiful lush rows of grape vines. The place offered inside seating, outdoor patio, and even an additional huge covered/glassed in area with tables, a bar, music, games, tv, restrooms. It was a wonderful place and the staff is super nice. We brought some snacks and bought some wine and just relaxed and enjoyed the view.
