Our main displays are granite monuments, the "History of Humanity" and the "History of the United States of America" are among those presently used by Northern Arizona University to teach their future teachers. We regret that you could not spend more time on these and other monuments of history, and most heartily welcome you again.

We intend to improve the tours and specifically better separate the whimsical 30 year old "Center of the World" concept based on a children's fable from the serious Museum of History in Granite, now candidate as a World Heritage Site. We plead guilty if we failed to clarify the 30 year old whimsical concept "Center of the World" which is based on a children's book and explained in the 7 minute video seen by all visitors. It is totally separate from the serious Museum of History in Granite, which by the way is not free. A large sign at the entrance states the fee is three dollars.We thank you for pointing out that we must review how the tour is presented,and hope to welcome you back in the future.

  Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The whimsical "Official Center of the World" is based on a children's book. Amused Supervisors of Imperial County passed a law establishing the site at Felicity. This property law was officially recognized four years later by the Government of France in accordance with international law.As you noticed, the Museum of History in Granite engraves serious history indeed.We should better explain the difference between whimsy and scholarship.You are always welcome at Felicity.Kind regards,
