My family went here for a day trip and it was fantastic. Yes, it is expensive for a large family and the food is overpriced but it was great fun for everyone. We took a 5 and 2 year old and there was plenty to do. The park was immaculate and safe! The bathrooms and changing rooms were clean. There was also life jackets at every pool area for all different sizes so you don't need to bring your own. The park was also very accessible for strollers (and wheelchairs, if needed). My father is 70 and walks with a cane and he was able to get around. There were a lot of campers there the day we went but the place is so large it was not an issue. Also, you do not need to eat inside the park. It is easy to go back to car and get food to take to picnic area next to parking lot. We would probably do that next time. We live about 30 mins away and would even consider season pass next summer!
We went on a Tuesday at the end of the summer so that camps were largely finished. It was a beautiful day and we arrived when the water park opened. We had the run of the place from opening until around noon. After that the crowds never let up. We had a great time and did all of the water slides at the beginning expecting increased crowds, but not to this degree. The rest of our day was spent in the wave pool or the lazy river. The wait times for the slides was an hour plus. Our family rented a cabana and it was the absolute best. Very clean, attentive service, and away from the chaos of the crowds. If you need shade your only bet is under one of the few trees or a cabana. I would definitely rent one againFood: many people have been saying how expensive the food is at the park. I found the prices to be as expected, maybe even under what I was expecting. Overall a great experience but minus one star due to the greed and not limiting crowds.
Took my wife and 3 boys ages 10,9 and 2 they have something for each of them to enjoy very good time good pizza lines not too bad, cool small wave pool i will recommend it in the future and will also return next summer.
This water park is only an hour away from NYC. The location is perfect, and near the highway,so easy access to it. The park is not to big, but it has lots of water slides, lots of lifeguards and very caring staff. The food is affordable, since they don't allow outside food. One more tip, if you want to bring your lunch and have all food packed, they have a another entrance just to allow you to bring your own food to a picnic area on the side of the park but with access to the water park. My family loves this park, since it is very safe for the whole family.
Not too big and not too small, just right! Things to do for kids of all ages and adults alike!...I love the fact that they have a large staff of lifegaurds in all areas, and all staff I've encountered have been very friendly and helpful. The negative side to this park is they accomodate lots of summer camps so it's very crowded from about 11-2ish. No outside food is allowed and the food/snacks there are extremely expensive, but they do have a picnic area just ouside the park so if you're looking to save $$ pack a picnic lunch..they'll give you a wrist band so you can re-enter the park. After 3:00 is 1/2 price, however, check website, some days the park closes @ 5p, so arriving at 3 will be a waste.
Took my 9 and 7 year old kids here over the weekend for some fun. And fun we had! All the rides were great. The parks not huge but definitely had enough to keep you occupied for the day. Yes it was crowded, but what water park isn't on a warm sunny summer weekend day. Biggest down side is the food. I don't mind paying $30.00 for a ticket into the park, but paying $3.09 plus tax for a bottle of water I do mind. All the food and drink is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, so know that going in. Get there early for better parking and shorter lines, the later in the day the more crowded it becomes.
very very sweet and helpful staff. very attentive life guards cute fun slides and so many places to lounge awesome and WELL managed park. pricy food but ok. easy to find your way around the park. clean clean clean bathrooms . wonderful safari I love this place.
Take the nephews here every summer and they always have a great time. Its a great little place and they seem to add something new every year. There is water slides, tube rides, lazy river, wave pool, regular swimming pool, couple areas for the little kids to play and even a safari show. There is also an indoor arcade if you go inside the eatery in the front. Plan to spend most of the day here. The time really flies. General admission is $33 & $28 for the little ones so it is a bit of money considering the size of the place, although not that terrible if your spending the whole day and have a coupon. The food selection there is ridiculously expensive and mediocre at best like a typical amusement park, but hey your there to swim not to feast. If you can hold out there are a lot of great restaurants in the area to dine at after. All in all its a fun day with the family.
everything was fab lots of slides, good food, a little pricey but all these things are anyway.I would say it is worth the money, easy parking, nice staff
When there 8/26/14 it was nice but more for young kids my nephew had a great time at the BoB the builder area !!Would return to see the smile on my nephew face lol
