I have Gluten intolerance and figured I would have to eat what I could salvage from the meal (I was on a bus trip and the menu was the same for all). I was SO pleased when I got there. The waitress went thru each course and recommended substitutions. She even brought me 2 slices of the most delicious Gluten free bread , the best I have ever had (where do you get it?) This was definitely a special treat. It's tough eating out, but this place really did a top notch job adjusting the menu for me. THANK YOU!!!!.. and the Christmas program was fun too
Thank you for your feedback. With seven productions each season and seven performances each week with a variety of times and menus we like to think there’s something for everyone at The Fireside. The age range of our guests depends mainly on the production as well as the performance time. For example, we served over 5,000 children during the run of MARY POPPINS! I can assure you that none of our food is purchased in bulk but is in fact hand made in our kitchens including the Potato Croquettes and Escalloped Tomatoes served with the featured menu for A FIRESIDE CHRISTMAS. The posted arrival times do allow for enjoying the entire Fireside experience which includes dining, shopping and the show but you can certainly arrive later if you do not wish to shop, just check with the box office to see what time you should arrive.

We would love to speak with you about it. Please email us at information@firesidetheatre.com along with your contact information. Thank you for your comments.
The musical we saw was FANTSTIC, the chairs were comfortable, easy to get to, dinner was also good, we were at the Sunday breakfast buffet, so like any buffet some choices are better than others. It was a fantastic Sunday morning.
The food, the atmosphere, the staff were wonderful! Went on a cruise about 20 yrs. ago. That was the last time I had such a great meal! We went to see the Christmas show on a Saturday night. Interesting and unique items in the shops-we purchased a few Christmas things. We really enjoyed the show. They went backwards from now until the first Christmas. Comedy, song, dance, acting etc. It was refreshing to see a performance that didn't exclude the real meaning of Christmas! Go see it for yourself-you won't regret it!
My love of the Fireside started at the tender age of 8, when in the early 80's, my parents gave me a birthday show at The Fireside to see: "Annie ". Being all dressed up, sitting in a high fan back rattan chair, and having a big special kiddie cocktail is something I still remember , even now, as a Mom myself. I saw shows with our high school choir group over the years. My husband proposed to me at The Fireside during the run of "Camelot". In recent years, we've shared the experience with our child, again re-living Annie and last year's "Mary Poppins". The Fireside family is always very welcoming. The shows are always top notch...the talent is always very good for such a small town, we are ALWAYS impressed. The food is always wonderful. I hope you will enjoy the Fireside as much as we have. We have had some very special life moments here.
My husband and I have been here several times for birthdays and anniversaries, and we have never been disappointed. The cons:There's really only one - the decor in the dining room is a bit dated. It is classy, but could stand an update. The pros:The owners are currently investing money in updating the venue. When we were there in March 2014, the kitchen was slated for an overhaul. (I'm hoping the dining room is next.)The food is delicious! The atmosphere is wonderful, and you are encouraged to eat slowly, enjoy every course, and engage in dinner conversation. What a great way to reconnect in today's hectic world! The service is wonderful - they always seem to show up just when you need something, take care of the need, and then disappear.Every play we have seen has been excellent!Looking forward to many more trips to Fireside with my honey!!
Went to the Sunday matinee & Brunch @ Fireside. Saw Les Miserables. Absolutely wowed us away. It beat even the Broadway production in NY. You feel you're part of the play. As far as the Buffet is concerned, five star, but nothing overly fancy. Just good Wisconsin food. Started with a fruit salad and sweets, waitress served. Then help yourself to the buffet. Buffet consisted of: bacon, sausage, sausage gravy & biscuits, eggs Benedict, fried potatoes, Mongolian beef, scrambled eggs salmon, and chef carved ham and turkey breast. All excellent. Meats were all Jones Farm brand. Waitress served dessert. They have a full service bar, and reasonably priced drinks(Bloody Mary was $5.25.) and a very enticing menu of specialty drinks. Dining room and theater was well spaced out. Tables were not crowded together and a lot of leg room in the theater.
