Seven taps of great beer with wide variety for all tastes. This local craft brewery is a fun place to hang. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable about the beer and the brewery is next to the pub. No regular food but always something to munch on. It's a place where everybody knows you after your first visit. Just starting limited keg distribution locally. Ask for Al, Caitlyn, Dare or Cassie. They'll be sure to fill you in on their latest brews.
Went on a Sunday afternoon. They had live music in the back. Everyone was very friendly and the beer was great!

Totally UNfriendly sudslady who was more concerned with impressing her hipster pals than helping a knowledgeable beer lover who has visited MANY breweries around the country. I found one drinkable IPA and very little else to get excited about. After seeking this place out, I can now cross it off my list, never will return. There are so many other options where friendliness and good beer carry the day.
Located just a short distance from the waterfront area, this is a great little brew pub. They have a tiny indoor bar as well as a biergarten offering outdoor seating. We were told they have bands in on Saturday evenings and for special events. They do not currently offer any food.We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and tried a flight of beers. We were really impressed with how much the bartender knew about beer. If you want to learn more about beer and brewing, she is definitely a great person to talk to. This is a wonderful addition to the area and we will definitely visit there again!
Fun atmosphere. We visited on a chilly rainy day so we were inside the funky tap room. There's also a large beer garden in the back that looks like it would be a fun area for families. But about the beer. This is a place I'd like to take all my friends who say they don't like beer. The 4 we sampled were smooth as cream soda. No bitter or alcohol taste at all. I was skeptical of 'cocoanut marshmallow' or 'cherry almond' in the same sentence as 'beer' but I was delighted with all of them. Craft brew lovers and pbr/bud devotees need to open their minds and get their tastebuds to Sailfish.
When you step into the Sailfish Brewing Company you feel like you have made an important discovery, some place special that the average beer drinker may never find out about. Hidden away on a back street in a quaint part of Historic Downtown Fort Pierce, 'Sailfish' offers a unique atmosphere akin to few other beer joints I have frequented. With great atmosphere, wonderful camaraderie and knowledgeable bartenders, many unique and tasty beers are brewed in house. Add a few new beers to your own personal list at the Sailfish and maybe even plan a fishing trip while you are there. After all, Fort Pierce 'is' the Sailfish Capital of Florida!
I found about Sailfish during the Rocky Water Brewing festival and was surprised to find that it was near one of my favorite theatres. I was suprised I hadn't seen it before. Then, it turns out to be a bit of a walk from there. I'm not sure I'd walk it again! The tasting room is nice and there is an outdoor area as well. They had gas heaters going the night I was there to knock the chill off. The beer was top notched. They also had an infuser and was infusing one of their beers with Starburst. It's a nice place to stop in for a beer but is a bit further from the downtown area in Fort Pierce than I expected.
Being that there was only, ONE, server taking care of the entire place the Saturday afternoon after a holiday (who the heck misplanned that?!), I was still well taken care of and impressed. That girl could handle business. We got food delivered in, and quickly, from one of the nearby pizza joints, it was good. Their beers were pretty good. She was out of one and couldn't refill it because of the previously mentioned logistical slip of mind, but the ones I had were great. That double IPA....wish I would've gotten a growler of that. Awesome outside seating. I would definitely return.
The place is small, dark and loud. If you like that, go for it. The beer was bitter with off tastes. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's certainly possible that others might like it.
