We really enjoyed the Players performance of The Hound of the Baskerville followed up with their vaudeville acts that kept us laughing through most every act. There is tremendous talent here in performers of all ages. I must say though that the two most amazing performers were the pianist who has a huge repertoire and the singer, David Matthew Connolly - loved his ballad. The show was over two hours in length and though we were weary from a day exploring Virginia and Nevada Cities, we were well entertained. Very much worth the cost of the ticket.
This is a must for all visitors to Virginia City. The players always put on an excellent show and they follow that with an outstanding variety show that is guaranteed to entertain!
Have been going to see the Virginia City Players since the 50's. ALWAYS a good time. Love the vaudeville show.
It is well worth your time to go here. Lot's of fun and old time entertainment. Take your out of town relatives here and watch them have a good time.
Rip Van Winkle was well done, and the variety act is better than usual; more talent and less slapstick. The silent movie in the ten minutes before the show starts is great!!
I've loved the Virginia City Players since I was a kid! they are still fun and a great part of the history of Virginia city, MT
We took a break from Yellowstone touring and drove up here. Enjoyed the Old West city and a bonus was the Entertainment by a Talented group. Two shows Hound of Baskervilles and funny, Family PG rated vaudeville after.
Took my daughter and two friends (ages 13). They loved it! We will definitely go back again next summer. Small theater so you get a great experience no matter where you sit.
We had a special viewing of just the vaudeville part of the program for the group we brought in. I have to say that everyone enjoyed the production. They involve the audience and aren't afraid to make fun of themselves. A talented group of individuals.
I have a bed and breakfast in VC and always recommend the VC Players for families staying withme. Although there is another attraction that offers "adult" entertainment there I feel The Players are the most fun and appropriate for families during their visit. Kids think it is really a hoot!
